Itsy Hotels Rain Forest — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

Treebo hotel chain is good but by visiting Rainforest hotel breaks my faith on it. Because of following reasons Hot water cattle was not available. No coffees tea begs available. As Ooty is cold place it is minimum requirements. No complementry water bottles available. Hot Water they were providing in plastic jug which is not at all acceptable. Complementry breakfast they have provided in packed form without our consent at 8.30 am. At least they should ask when you want to have breakfast. Due to which we had cold breakfast. Intercom was dead and they have written on door, call reception no. 9 which is funny. In washroom basin, only cold water tap was fitted. We use bathing tap for using hot water. In the name of toiletery only shower gel and hand wash were there ...that too is filled half with water. No past no brush. Shower gel was kept in basin and there were no arrangement to keep it near by shower. So facing inconvenience to using it. The price I have paid for two nights are Rs. 8479.16. which is very much high if you compare the facilities they are providing. Further, they allowed us to check in the hotel only after payment of other half amount which usually asked in reception at the time of check out. When I ordered dinner I was asking about menu and the person at reception is saying....sir kitna questions poochte ho....I am a customer and your duty is to answer us. Then he sent one person for asking Rs 500 from me for the dinner I have ordered  as if I will flew from hotel without paying them. The location of hotel was not good because my Google map taken me to a dead point and we have to ask local people that where is rainforest hotel. The signboard of hotel is so small and just above of OYO hotel sign board and not properly visible. Overall staying here for two nights has not given me a feel to stay at Treebo Hotel. Treebo hotel chain has broken my faith by not maintaining its minimum standards.

Staff was good and polite they were doing there work. One good point is tea was very nice.

So, these are the basic things I want to inform Treebo hotel chain. So that they firstly visit the hotel before providing them there Name Treebo hotel.

And my feedback to Treebo hotel that please consider these points if you want to retain your...

This hotel does not have Kitchen facility of its own owing to which there is always delay in providing breakfast which arrives at 9:00 so logically you can not leave the hotel before 9:30 - 9:45 / 10:00 as there is no place where they can serve the breakfast they send it individually to rooms, spoons are always missing and takes another 10 minutes to arrive.||Staff is cooperative. rooms are very small, no wifi, hot water is till 6:45 to 7:00 after which it is normal water. There is scarcity of towels if the hotel is full as we had booked for 2 days but since the hotel was full we did not get second set of towels for next day and had to use the same set of towels. little crunch for parking space. Bed's are too small can only accomodate 2 peoples they charge additional 600 per day for an additional bed. Bathroom has shields missing so literally open from behind.||||Again traveller's should note that the temperature drops drastically hence they should carry warm clothes and also that it rains anytime so hey should be prepared for the same.||||Recommended to leave early so that you can cover all major points.||||SPECIAL NOTE:-- Mini Bus and other state TT's are not allowed beyond the main point but they can still go till Rose Garden or Botanical Garden beyond which they have to arrange another vehicle. When the vehicle will be stopped they will offer a tavera or jeep with charges 200 per person which is not advisable. Traveller's can pre-book another vehicle to avoid last minute surprises. They can purchase very good jackets at a nominal cost varying...

Please note that I had tough time with thisproperty all the three days that we were there. Given that this was my first booking through OYO learnt that one should not pick OYO for family booking and plesure trips rather should use it only for business trips for individual travel. ||||I still dont know how Rain forest is rated 4 which misled me to go for it. Infact its note even good for rating 1. ||||1. The property is on a cliff away from any basic amenity and after 7 its very risky to travel in those roads||2. The rooms are very cramped and the bed is so small for a family ||3. LEaky water taps and toilets||4. Pathetic un-hygiene breakfast served too late and at their own mercy||5. No decent TV channels to enjoy evenings, no other entertainment options||6. More importantly no HOT WATER faciluty and all th three days we were made to run around for hot water tin that cool climate, when confronted we were abused with harsh words||7. Property manager used to ring at 6AM in the morning asking us to have bath as water was hot then as if we get up late there will no hot water, spoiling our trip meant mainly to relax but we came back stressed||||||I sincerely request OYO to inspect properties properly and engage with them if not you will be kicking out of business for sure. ||End of the trip I felt i poured 18K into the drain as we did not enjoy a bit ther for three days.
