One of the worst food I have ever had..

We a family of 9 members went to have lunch on May 1st it was around 12.30..

No one was there and we were looking for someone to get us a seat. a lady who was in charge and started a conversation in a rude manner..

Anyway we planned to have the food so we took the seat and placed our order...

It was 1 bucket of mutton biriyani serving 6..

The kids loved the biriyani and started eating..

But the brinjal katta was foul smelling and I asked for the server and he said it was a little deep burnt....

The biriyani doesn't look like it was taken fresh from dum..

It should definitely be the old one which is pre heated and served for us..

The mutton pieces were not so hot.. after asking the lady told due to climate it is like that..

We closed the bill and started to go to kotagiri for our guest house.

Here started the night mare 1st kid started food poisoning from midnight 1...

2nd one started from midnight 3

3rd from morning 6..

The total family collapsed, we don't know wat to do..

I went to the medical shop and got emergency medicine and gave it to children..

Once we were somehow ok we returned to cbe, rooms wer cancelled all our plans were completely ruined...

Then after reaching cbe the adult also got food poisoning...

Totally we are 9 members

3 Kids and 3 adults were hospitalised after returning...

The amount of food was around 2k..

But the hospital bill was about 10 times

Enna kodumai sir idhu...

Ivungala nambi oru biriyani saptadhukku..

Vachi senjitaanga...

Instead pls go to hotel ANGAARAN and HBH...

Wen ever i go to Ooty i prefer these 2 hotels..

Theriyama khalids ponadhukku nalla punishment...

It’s a very disappointing experience for us recently with so called famous biriyani restaurant. They were treated us like beggar's where we waited upto 2 hours to get their famous Ambur Biriyani. When we entered to the restaurant very few customers were there and we categorically asked how much time will take to serve us. They assured us with in 20 - 30 minutes and all of us including senior citizen and kids waited for a hour to get the so called delicious biriyani. After a hour we checked with them, they said it’s ready and will serve within 10 minutes. Then half a hour later again they said another 10 minutes. After 2 hours, we lost our patience and went upto their kitchen, then we realised that they were not prepared the delicious biriyani for us till that time. The staffs are not at all bothered about their customers, it’s shows that they only eyeing on their profits rather than customer satisfaction. I don’t know how many others have same experience from these guys. Our first experience is very much disappointing and hereafter I am advising all the Biriyani lovers that if you have enough time you visit this place and have Delicious Biriyani otherwise if you are hungry go somewhere else.

Finally, I am requesting the owners of this restaurant that please be honest with your customers and said the truth to them how much time it will take to serve the unfortunate customers. Please don’t drag the hungry people into your greediness to make money. If you are honest customer will not go anywhere. So be honest and always be transparent with your customers whom are the KING for...

I visited Khalid many times, recently they revised the menu. Ordered Roti, Naan and recently they added seeraga samba biriyani. Chennai style basmati biriyani was not there - they added chilli chicken and served the basmati biriyani.

1.Roti and naan tasted good along with punjabi chicken We visit the place mainly for biriyani, it was disappointing. Chilli chicken biriyani was worst ever, chicken was heated twice in the oil seems, tasted very bad Seeraga samba rice biriyani tasted very blunt no flavor, only spicy nothing tasty

We were asking for a plain biriyani rice, they said it got removed from the menu, already biriyani was tasting bad, just fill our tummy thought of having some rice they are not having biriyani rice. It is really worse, already in ooty - we are not having good restaurants - now Khalid also joined the race.

Service also not impressive, their attitude is kind of, this is what we have, if you are ok have it or leave it kind of.

Mostly all are north indians working here, they are not much interested in dealing with customer in good way.

Please closely work on all these to improve the quality and curate the menu with all possible options, if you could not have plain biriyani rice in menu - it is not going to not work for everyone who would like to small portions again as already biriyani quantity is less - so one wont be enough...
