We are posting this review here especially for the lethargic and ignorant customer service experience we had. We were a couple and was gifted with this stay for our honeymoon by one of our frnds. We entered this location with open mind and was looking fwd for a pleasant stay. We were booked with a standard room(rustic cottage) and it was a total disappointment. We checked in around 4 clk in the evng and the room location is literally backside to the resort with worst possible view you could imagine. All you could see is unmaintained very small dry lawn and bushes. Despite reaching them two days prior and requesting for a honeymoon decoration, they were generous and courteous enough to reject it stating that they are occupied. We totally understood and was fine with it until we entered the room. Room was Below average and there was no toiletries and other stuffs like towel kept in our room which are basic things(which is a first sign for ignorance) and for every small thing we had to call reception (geyser took forever to get heated and dryer was not in a working condition). Above of all to our dismay, there was no outdoor Knob for the bathroom to lock it from outside. We reached customer desk, they said that there are no alternate rooms available to provide us. Since we really wasn't in a much mood to sort it out with them as we were really tired, we decided to adjust. On the Next day we noticed that a light was missing near mirror which merely made the room look dull and it was impossible for my wife to get ready with that kind of lighting. Again reached them and the reception person vaguely that it is how their lighting will be. It was abruptly clear that the light broke and even they kept the broken holder inside our cupboard, he didn't even mind to apologise for a second. I got furious on his response and with the kind of hospitality we received from him. I asked him that we didn't really wanted to make a fuss and adjusted everything(which is the biggest regretful mistake I did) and there was no simple apologetical gesture from his side( we were expecting them to show a little gesture as it was our honeymoon trip and yes it was booked with hard earned money). Out of my comfort zone, I even pointed out that why they could you not even show a simple gesture by offering us with a complimentary breakfast. He simply ignored my comment and said that he will resolve the issue. He sent a person to fix the door knob issue. Resolving the issue is fine but what about the inconvenience we had, don't we deserve a sorry for the negligence in keeping their room ready that too especially when some one chose their place for honeymoon. He didn't even apology for the inconvenience we had and was petty enough to act like we were petty to request for a breakfast. We are working in IT firm and very well can pay for a breakfast ourself. All we expected from them is a simple grateful gesture for adjusting the given room for our special stay. On the third day, I went in person and explained everything to a women executive very clearly including the breakfast thing I broughtup in the earlier call that we didn't ask for a breakfast to tally our discomfort rather I took it up as an example for an apological act. She was patient enough to listen and apologised. You could think then why you are taking up this again here in feedback. I literally would suggest you to reach customer and fight for your pleasant stay when you feel like there is discomfort in the room. It's not OK to adjust here as they dont have a decent courtesy to even apology in the first place or even a show a apologetical act. Even the restaurant Incharge was very kind enough to reject our 2 plate request with a very unethical look. There are pleasant places who are very generous in their customer service. Since we have been to such hotels and resorts, we were hoping for a similar experience. But it was an total disappointment for us. With that amount of money, you could get a more blissful and comfortable stay experience in ooty which we learned later.

We stayed here 3 nights, price is expensive but no proper service, 2 days suffered for water problem in wash room, in dinning place pls don't eat food in this hotel, very expensive and in breakfast also very very waste of money, only 2 items and they charge 1000rs for breakfast, and in dinning hall one worst fellow is there, we are new to that place, we just seeing the menu, that stupid fellow don't have patience, he just runs away from there as like we are doing timepass there, like he only the busy person, there is not that much rush also in the dinning area, what ever we asks he just gets irritation to give answer, and after ordering food we only have to serve with our own, then what he does there to get irritated, management has to watch that fellows behaviour with customers in CCTV, infront of us other 2 customers also scolded him regarding his behaviour, and next thing is they gave unwashed blankets for us, i called the reception to change, 3 times idiots brought back the same blankets for us, and no single discount also while doing the bill when vacating the room, for bon 🔥 fire in the room we asked, for 4 sticks they took 300 rs, very expensive, but hotel location of the garden is good but hotel service is very very bad, unhappy with the services of this kluney manor hotel

My entire stay of 2 days in Ooty was bliss, and Kluney Manor was one of those great reason for that. The entire property is spread widely. It established more than 170 years ago. But, still it is maintained greatly. I felt like I came to an old palace. It's interiors, exteriors, and the lawns are great. Very tasty food as well. You may spend half or full day just exploring the enitre Kluney manor itself. On one side, so many 5-6 story hotels will have 5 - 10 rooms in a single floors, Kluney manor has very well spread 15 - 25 rooms in the entire properties on ground itself. Mentioning one of the representatives in its restaurant, Mr. Anand, who was courtious enough and suggesting food as per our liking. Mr. Jay (from the reception) was my Point of Contact in Kluney Manor, and he helped me a lot in my entire stay.

Write a good review about my stay with family in Kluney Manor Ooty. Appreciation to mention that the resort has multiple beautiful garden with different types of flowers and scenic views. Mention that they alluded to the request for a heater even though as a policy they do not provide heater in room. The staff were very courteous and hospitable and were prompt in addressing every request without any delay. Breakfast which came as part of the package had variety and was of good quality and request to allow us to eat in the garden as my mother had difficulty climbing stairs was also alluded to. Overall the stay was enjoyable thanks to the cooperative hotel management.

My family and I recently stayed at Kluney Manor in Ooty, and we couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience. The resort is set in a stunning location with multiple beautiful gardens filled with a variety of flowers, providing scenic views that are truly breathtaking.

Despite the policy of not providing heaters in the rooms, the management graciously alluded to our request and provided one, ensuring our comfort during the chilly nights. The staff at Kluney Manor were incredibly courteous and hospitable, always prompt in addressing our requests without any delay.

The breakfast, which was included in our package, offered a wide variety of high-quality options. Additionally, the staff kindly allowed us to enjoy our breakfast in the garden since my mother had difficulty climbing stairs, demonstrating their exceptional consideration and flexibility.

Overall, our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, thanks to the cooperative and attentive hotel management. We highly recommend Kluney Manor for a memorable and comfortable...
