Rams Inn Yercaud — Hotel in Tamil Nadu

Positives:|Ram's Inn at Yercaud is situated at a nice location. Very close to the Main road (means it could be noisy) and the Emerald Lake. The property is very well maintained, neat and clean.||Negatives:|The hotel has strange policies like Drinking and Smoking strictly prohibited - however I could see people smoking in the Balcony.|The Rooms on the ground floor are really a bad choice if you have unruly kids in the adjacent rooms. We had a terrible experience as the kids would create a lot of noise playing in the lobby. The hotel management could not do much to control this. But the staff is courteous.|There is no WiFi connection or Mobile network connectivity.|There is no room service. Even Tea and Coffee not served.|No Refrigerator in the entire hotel.|The hotel does not seem to have a policy as they allowed 15 people to stay in a suite meant for 5 people max (this was the main cause for having a noisy ground floor)|The hotel is really no value for money considering...

We stayed for two nights. ||Good things:||||The hotel is at the right location adjacent to Anna Park and Lake. ||The hotel staff are friendly and responsive.||Bolcony view is good. Choose the rear side for a view of Anna Park.||||Things for improvement :||||They promise many things like Free wi-fi, room service, generator backup. WI-FI was not available when I visited. Room service is not meaning delivering food at rooms at least for them. They dont have generator and only UPS. Fans are not supported by UPS. The net connection in this place is very poor. So take cash with you to settle the bills and not depend on card. They dont have...

Received very friendly behaviour of the staffs and their manager Mr. Balaji. They prefer families as their customers. Very peaceful place to stay with sufficient parking space. They have tie-up with local private taxis for site visit. They have not started food service yet, but good restaurants veg and non-veg are nearby only within 5 minutes walking distance. The location is the advantage. Yercaud lake and Anna Park are in walking distance and shopping centres are also nearby. I can recommend to stay in this hotel...
