Gold river house boat — Hotel in Thathampally

We were 2 people, travelled in the month of May (off season) and may be because of that no one was responding properly for our Houseboat enquiries. Finally, we contacted Gold River Houseboats and decided to travel with it.

The person with whom we communicated guided us through phone all the way till we boarded the Houseboat and everything went smooth.

The Houseboat was amazing with Upperdeck which suits the people who wanted to travel private (2 persons). The food was outstanding except for one or two items.

The boat was docked at a small village where there were good amount of houses around.

Only thing was Hot water was not provided and we were not bothered as it was summer season.

The staff were good and helped regarding our next day Itinerary on how to use local ferry to travel between Alleppey and Kumarakom.

Don't miss small boat ride during the Houseboat stay where the boat will take you around local village and it was an amazing experience....

We recently had an experience of your houseboat service and would like to recommend it everyone because of the hospitality offered at the houseboat. MR.Jose and MR.Rajesh are an excellent cook and the hospitality given by them have been exceptional. They were very prompt in cooking and very humble. Because of there service and humility would likely be visiting again. Also not to mention about Mr.Joshi for his promptness in getting us cake for our friends birthday.I would surely be recommending there houseboat and service for this...

We spent one night on a Gold River houseboat in Allepi. It was such fun and so relaxing. The crew were friendly and helpful and the food was amazing. We had a very interesting cookery demonstration too. The accommodation on board was comfortable and we slept well after watching the sun set. Quite magical.
