Hotel Shikhar Inn — Hotel in Ujjain

Rooms - small, extremely unhygienic, and bedsheets were not washed from ages. Also the room was stinking. washrooms are smelly and too small that you can't even move inside it ...it's that congested. The pics of rooms are not at all resembling to the actual washrooms. The walls of washroom has that black fungus called as mold and the toilet door was half eaten from the bottom because of moisture. Not sure when was the last time they cleaned them. Service - I wonder what services these people will provide they are totally encashing on the location because it's walkable from the Mahakaleshwar Mandir. When we entered the room...the garbage bucket was full of thrash which must have been left by the previous people. They told me on phone that hotel has lift which was not there... When we checked out they did not even refunded the money and gulped 500 bucks. IT'S A LODGE AND NOT AN INN....it has "None of the hotel standards". Dear owner..: just by naming the room "DELUXE" it doesn't become deluxe... Go and check the standards of a "DELUXE" room on other hotel's websites. And if possible...try to pay the service for the charges you...

I booked this hotel from Agoda before 15-20 days of arriving.

we reached at 06:00am but due to hotel check-in 11:00am check-out 10:00am policy we waited for 5 hours for room.

#With us there was many hidden guest in room and that was a mouse 🐁 and many mosquito 🦟🦟🦟🦟.

#There was no clothes hanger in bathroom. So you might go for bath without towel.

#We hired car from hotel for Omkareshwar @₹3000, they discussed with us about brand new Ertiga and at time of departure the wreckage Swift stood in front of us. Which had 5th gear not working.

#If you demand to serve tea 🍵 coffee ☕ at your room, hotel staff charged extra ₹5 per cup. (Although tea coffee is available at the hotel door)

#The car driver don't care about the passanger. If you like your self and family don't hire car from this hotel.

#Ruff driving, he don't care about potholes, speed breaker, curved road, wrong side driving (although the vehicle is coming from the front).

#We survived an accident 8-10 times during the trip.

My best advice is, there is lots of hotels in Ujjain. So, don't book online it's easily available at the...
