Hotel Elora — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

Visited this hotel during the first week of Feb 2023. Hotel is located in the main market. Walking from hazratganj metro station and hazratganj market. Famous sharma ji ki chai and sardar ji ke chole bhature are next to the hotel. I booked directly through the hotel's website and got a better deal. You can also call the hotel and book a room and pay when arrive. My room was a club room without breakfast, so no comments on food. I tasted tea, I think 75 or 80 Rs plus gst but one flask in good for 2 people. However, taste of tea wasn't that great. Room service will take 20-25 min I think they prepare fresh food which is good. Now parking, call and check with the hotel about parking availability as hotel is in main market. Staff is good polite and helping. Room size was good, TV in working condition, one double bed and sofa set was available in the club room. Wifi is available but it is little slow. If planning to work from the hotel just cross check with them. Clean bathroom shampoo and soap given. Hot and cold water available all the time. 2 mineral bottles are complementary, extra will be chargeable. However, you can ask for RO water available free of cost. They had also given me sleepers. Bathroom is next to the bed so at times room gets messy when someone takes shower. They need to place a mattress or a towel at bathroom door. Shower is good but pointing towards bathroom door which can be troublesome at times. No windows in the room, one has to go down for fresh air or to see anything. AC did not use so can't comment. I could have given 5 stars but the reason it is only 4. Towels are old and appear not clean. Pillow covers are also old and have spots. I think they beed to change their towels pillow covers etc. All in all good place for...

We were planning an intimate wedding in Lucknow for which we contacted different hotels/banquets in Lucknow.

Initially we only planned to book the rooms with Elora. However, after we spoke to Bharat we were convinced that we should book the place for our other special day events as well and trust me...we did not have to regret that decision a bit.

The staff was very co-operative and flexible when it came to managing our event and stay. Super supportive staff and always ready to help.

Ours was a small gathering (around 15 folks) and right from the booking process to checkout everything was smooth and the staff took great care of us.

They even accommodated our request to convert the boardroom into a wedding hall and after the decorations, the hall did not look like a boardroom!

Apart from the rooms and other arrangements, the food was excellent and flavourful. My recommendation: Even if you are a local do visit Blue Coriander restaurant to enjoy the food. Coming to the rooms and other facilities, the rooms are quite comfortable and have the required amenities like Wifi, work desk, etc. Room Service is prompt.

The hotel was compact and the location of the hotel seems good. The room was cosy though we were given a coop when we checked-in for a triple occupancy for 3 days but the attendant soon changed it to a larger area room . I still wondered why we were shown a smaller one wherein we had paid for triple occupancy. A couple or two things about the hotel which should be taken care by the management:- We had asked particularly for no room service since we had earlier faced hotel room thefts , still we found out somebody had come to our room in our absence and had broken the lock too during that duration. Again an inconvenience for changing the room and shifting our belongings. It seemed the hotel lacked staff and manpower. Had to wait for several minutes for any kinda service. The rooms were smelly and no floor mats available. Food options was really limited.

Pros Complimentary breakfast was really good and the service too was fast. Liked the overall decor of the rooms, lightings and furniture specially the seating area in corridor. The daytime receptionists were polite and friendly compared to the night timers. Nearer to the airport and market and...
