Hotel Saryu (Rahi Yatri Niwas) — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

We booked a suite, and while the room and location were good, the hospitality was extremely poor. The breakfast options were also disappointing, with only paratha and daliya served.

In particular, the receptionist, Ms. Nisha Gupta, displayed unacceptable behavior that completely ruined our stay experience. She misbehaved with us over a mere 15-minute delay in checkout, despite knowing that we had a booking for the same hotel that day. When she called, I politely requested 10-15 minutes to freshen up and was about to step out to inform them personally, but instead, they continuously knocked on the door, even though our baby was sleeping.

Despite explaining the situation on the call, she still misbehaved. And when I mentioned that I’d take this up with her senior, she suddenly flipped and started playing the victim. This clearly shows how a single person can ruin the image of the entire hotel they represent

My wife and I are both extremely unhappy with our stay. Had we known this earlier, we would have never booked for another day. If you value good hospitality, avoid staying here unless she is not at the reception otherwise, expect the worst welcome and...

Hotel Saryu (actual name is saryu atithi griha) is located near sant tulsidas ghat of river saryu. The location is good and you will get river views from the room itself. The hotel is near the Lata Mangeshkar Chowk and the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra or Hanuman Garhi are within 2 km distance, which can be reached easily in a toto or golf cart.||The rooms (we had booked ac deluxe) are very spacious with a large balcony, almost the size of a suite. However, the rooms do not have facilities like complimentary drinking water, tea/coffee, etc. Washroom does not have hand towel, liquid hand wash container is empty. There is no mirror in the room. The other major issue is with food. Items are limited and cooking is ordinary. They have complimentary breakfast, but items are only 3 + milk tea. Sandwich has only butter spread inside.
