My Family and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The staff is polite but we felt cheated. We booked Deluxe Room but they gave us Executive Room (Room 102). We failed to check at that time as we realised this after we came back. On Agoda, itās clearly mentioned that thereās no mineral water in the executive room and that happened with us. We thought that we were in Deluxe Room and were thinking that why we didnāt get mineral water. The room was also not big, window handle was broken so we couldnāt close the windows properly. Study lamp was broken too. Mini Fridge was totally Empty, no complimentary drinks were offered (i mean literally how much does it cost). We werenāt even given a woollen Blanket which is assured in a Deluxe Room. Breakfast was good. We ordered Aloo Paranthas and Omelette. Food is Tasty!!
One more thing is regarding the extra bed: they say that they provide an extra bed but in place of that they provide a mattress. They charged us 300/- for an extra āBEDā. They should know the difference between a BED and Mattress. I have been to other hotels who provide Bed when they say Bed.
At the end i would say: Never judge a book by itās cover and i mean it. It will look good from outside, no doubt they have got parking space but i have stayed in hotels cheaper than this with better amenities...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve been visiting Dehradun for my official work for almost a decade now & have been staying at different properties in the city. This time I skipped my stay at a regular hotel(nice property) & decided to stay at Hotel Deepshikha. My observations are mentioned under:|* Location of the property is good on the main Rajpur road(opposite Secreteriat) & close to the happening place Ashley Hall.|* Staff & Service is very good|* I chose to stay in the Executive room which can accommodate 2 adults & 1 kid without extra bed(though I didnāt find a room to fit the same )|* As the interiors are aged out & a fresh coat of paint is required|* Bathroom is pretty small with a tiny shower area embraced in the corner-one has to be cautious while taking bath as you could hit the edges of ash basin which is pretty big, the tiles & bathroom fittings have worned out-need repair/replacement.|Room service is good| The property has an in-house kitchen with a wide variety of food available- bit costly but good.|* Try booking your stay directly with the hotel & do negotiate for the price|* Due to ongoing work by the authorities on the road & continuous moving traffic, it was a difficult task for me to get a sound sleep- I would suggest to go for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLocated just a km away from the clock tower. On rajpur road. It's convenient to reach here and easily accessible from all directions. The rooms were good nice and large bathroom was also good. Although overall cleanliness of the room was not that great, the floor of the room and bathroom always felt as there was dirt on it. Plus the ac of our room was leaking inside the room, the staff did put towel around so that the water would not spread in the room as it happened late in the night. Given the time it was not gonna be possible to call anyone to fix it but the staff was promopt and put towels around quickly where the water was dripping. Food we ordered for our lunch and breakfast was good. All in all a good budget hotel. The staff , the manager and all were well mannered...
