Hotel dev palace — Hotel in Uttarakhand

Everything about this place is a traumatic experience for me. Even though it seems very easily accessible the service and quality of the whole management is very bad.

Pros:

Cons:

Service provided are almost negligible. Unsafe parking, someone might damage your vehicle in their parking and they won't even help u with a simple cctv footage ( worst experience for a place this beautiful ) apart from the staff even the family who runs this place is one of the greediest and cheap family I've seen in my entire life. Even the way they talk is like they are threatening you. Of course that is when u raise a dispute regarding anything. location seems primary but trust me if it's your first time you don't want a place from where access to river Ganga is inconvenient for this price. Even if you are a person who likes mountains, believe me that u can find a far better place with same or even less price than here.

The Hotel has the worst service possible. Stay on the streets but don’t stay in this pathetic hotel. I checked in with my parents, booked a room and the bed-sheet was dirty, the Ac wasn’t working and the room seemed unkempt. After arguing they changed our room and still the electricity was an issue. Imagine staying in a hotel with no electricity.

To make matters worse, due to an early train, I misplaced certain clothes in the same room which after endless calls, offers of payment have not been returned to me. Any hotel has the decency to attend to its customers calls, not be rude but this family run enterprise does not have service in its DNa. Please avoid. And not step one foot inside this hotel. It is a family run business, from the staff to the owners, they are very polite and courteous.||Rooms are basic with double beds, fans, TV and cupboard. The bath-rooms are reasonable with hot water. ||There is no heat in the rooms (weather was cold in the nights during our stay). However there is air-conditioning. ||There is a cafe on the ground floor and they serve Indian food.
