Undoubtedly this is the best place for rafting in india, must must go place.you will find grade 4 rapids (where the flow of water goes bonkers) which will make your experience a remembering one. There are 4 types of rafting options based on distance (34 km,26 km,16 km and 9km). We took the 16 km option which have 8 rapids (in which 4 are really amazing spacially named golf course and roller coaster 😈💀).it starts from shivpuri and goes downstream to end point (ram jhula). 34 km option have very fearfull rapids spacially ' the wall'. It is recommended only for professionals. The cost of 16 km option is rs 400 per head. It is good to go there in a bigger group and in multiple of eight so that the entire group can fit in one raft. Good time to start rafting is in the morning. If you travelling by car, keep it in Rishikesh and ask the raft organiser to arrange the trip to shivpuri for you.
