New Hotel Snow Crest — Hotel in Uttarakhand

I stayed at Snow Crest for 2 nights - 23rd and 24th September 2024. This is my second stay at Snow Crest. I had come to Badrinath in 2023 and stayed at Snow Crest. This is undoubtedly one of the best hotels at Badrinath - food , proximity to temple, view from the room, cleanliness , hotel decor - everything is outstanding. However I am extremely disappointed with their service this time. Their attitude towards guests is discriminatory. I was traveling with my mother , brother and my mother's attendant who is like a family to us and has been with my family for last 20 years . We booked a separate room for him in Snow Crest. When he along with our chauffeur Anilji who had been driving us from Rishikesh went for dinner they didn't let them have bouffet . I called up the reception and told them categorically that all food bills will be paid by me and my staffs will eat whatever they wish to. Next day when they went for breakfast - not only were they told very rudely to put down the plates - they were also told to have the breakfast which is provided by the hotel to accompanying chauffeurs - this was despite the fact that I had booked a room for my mother's attendant which included bed and breakfast and I had specifically spoken to Reception that my staff will eat whatever they feel like and I will bear the expenses. I had a massive showdown with Reception and for the rest of the stay I always accompanied my staff whenever they went for their meals so that they are not forbidden and insulted. A guest is a guest - it is not our tradition to behave differently with guests from different strata of society and certainly not what one expects in Dev Bhoomi Badrinath. If I travel with my staff next year - I shall certainly think twice before staying at Snow Crest because their insult is my insult too and would opt for any other hotel where people are treated equally and with respect irrespective of their social/...

Hotel New Snow Crest at Badrinath is top notch in all spheres be it reception, hospitality, food at the restaurant, quality of rooms provided, amenities, help extended to guide guests regarding badrinath dham visit and sight-seeing nearby places....they are excellent in everything.
