Absolute nightmare! This happened on 30th May 2025 - I had booked this through agoda. I reached the hotel around 6:30 PM. The owner and a few other people were at the reception who got me checked in. They had absolutely no signs of servitude but did not sound arrogant initially.
Right after he gave the key to room 303, he said there is a small problem with the wooden floor tile being chipped off. He asked me if that were a problem. I told him that as long as that is the only issue, I’m okay. Once I got into the room, I noticed that the place is in shambles. Beds are dirty, chewing gum on the side table, AC not working and sounding like a car engine. Bathrooms looked okay.
I called the reception over phone, stating the room isn’t good will need another one. He said okay and will give me one in 10min. The cleaning staff guy came, changed the AC remote and left stating that this is how all rooms are and I must adjust.
I call the reception again. This time the owner comes up with 2 bouncers to threaten me. He tells me that this is how all rooms are and there is nothing he can do about it. He abuses me stating I don’t know how to use the AC and I’m causing a lot of ruckus.
Giving a genuine complaint is creating ruckus to the owner? Within no time I checked out partly due to the lack of respect and partly due to the fear of my life as I seemed to have hurt the owners ego (The rooms could not be locked with a latch and I didn’t want to risk sleeping the night where I know that bouncers from the pub upstairs which the owner also runs could have assaulted me if they wanted to)

I came back after an hour and the staff had the audacity to ask for 15 minutes more. I just came here but now i see every one is pointing out the horrible service I hope i see earlier. No soap tray no shower gel no kettle cups tea everything was missing. I asked for tea and i waited half an hour and called again.(Got tea without biscuits ). I know after this review i will get a fkng reply sorry for inconvenience thats it but hey buddy other townhouse hotels are good but not this one. Same thing happen with juhi and sharma as u can see other reviews means they are not changing their behaviour.👍 While checkout he has the audacity to ask for tea payment. This hotel is an absolute disgrace. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of infuriating. The staff was unbelievably unhelpful, rude, and arrogant, acting as though doing the bare minimum was a favor.
We asked for tea, and it took over 40 minutes to arrive. We finally cancelled it, but they had the audacity to demand payment for it the next day! We also requested an extra blanket, but it never came. There was no hot water in the bathroom, and despite multiple requests, no one bothered to respond or fix the issue.
The landline in the room didn’t work, and when we tried calling reception through other means, they were unhelpful and dismissive. To make matters worse, they didn’t fulfill a single request we made during our stay.
