HOTEL MARLIN — Hotel in West Bengal

I was there for a day trip i will share my experience with them.

In terms of rooms, I choose the basic room for 2 adults, i am not sure if they have even more premium rooms but if you are looking for a luxurious experience then this is not it. The rooms were not bad at all in my experience, it does the job. I would say it's very average but in a good way. As for the condition of the rooms, it's mostly clean, except some tea-like spots in the roof I'm not sure what it is, walls are a bit stained, bed was cleaned before we came but it still was a bit dusty. The AC was good although there was no remote. Some people did complain about The AC not working but i had no issues regarding that. The room is good and provides the bare minimum. The only complaint I have is the bathroom, specifically the toilet, it was dirty, either they don't clean it properly or they never did but it was stained black almost so make sure you check the toilet before you check in. I would also like to add that despite the rooms being average the prices were really cheap, A basic room for 2 adults for a day cost us 1400rs which is pretty good value if you are willing to endure the cons.

As for the service, I'd say service was pretty good, There's always someone on the desk if you need anything. They also provide food but I'm not sure about the prices as i never ordered from here. Also outside food is not allowed at all. There's also elevators if that's one of your requirements. Overall the service was good enough there were no complaints.

The location is where it shines, the hotel might not have sea facing features but it's really close to the beach, in fact, the beach is just 500m "straight" walk which means if you're bad with directions like me then you will have no issues from returning from the beach at all.

Overall i would say it's a nice place to stay for a day or two if you are a student or on a budget. Very much recommended if you are okay...

Worst hotel with worst service. They charged us Rs. 1500 per day and we booked 3 rooms for two days. Since it was an online booking they had send amazing pics and after the payment was done, the manager informed that one of the rooms will be little small but price won't be reduced for the same. We agreed to that after which when we reached there we found that two rooms were small in size and one was okay but the condition of the room was pathetic.

Broken toilet seat Broken toilet door Dirty bedsheets Dirty walls Denied wifi saying its not working No toiletries No packed drinking water Denied room service until we started telling them that we will deduct money. A rod came out of the bed which could have hurt us. No landlines provided in the room

The manager gives you angry looks and provides no solution to your problems. He sleeps at the entrance of the hotel and denies talking to anyone even though it's his office time.

Coming to the restaurant in the hotel, food was good for the price charged but service was too slow and didn't have most of the ingredients but still kept taking orders and not fulfilling...

Very very bad experience.... We stayed with our family for 2 days .. no any house keeping come for cleaning the room .. behaviour of the staffs are very bad .. my sister kept locked in the bathroom for half an hour.. no one from reception did not receive the call.. when we complaint about that one of them behave very roughly and said what can I do.. we asked them for ac remote they told us that they will give the remote in that night but don't give us ,tv also not working.. after the incident when we asked to manager they provide us ac remote and tv also ... Very bad experience... Not...
