Magic Mountain Homestay — Hotel in West Bengal

Undoubtedly the best homestay in Darjeeling. I have been there twice and now it feels like home. Wake up with an 180° view of Kanchenjunga. The rooms are well furnished with comfortable beds. They have an amazing social area where you can sit and watch the night sky. The best thing that struck me is their hospitality. And if these things are stopping you from going there then you should know that they have three lovely dogs. The host Pranish Pradhan is a very hospitable man and has many stories to tell about Darjeeling. Magic Mountain homestay provides a great view of the Kanchenjunga from it's balcony. The owner Vivek Shreshtha is a very nice and humble person and he was very helpful during our stay. The room in which we stayed was big and the bathroom was big as well. The room can easily accommodate four persons. In terms of location, it is near the Darjeeling railway station but you have to climb down a lot of stairs in order to reach the homestay. This is the only negative that I found about the homestay and honestly it really cannot be called a negative.
