Gino Feruci Kebonjati Hotel — Hotel in Bandung City

Bad hotel. Bad service. Bad amenities. They claimed that they are the 4th star hotel. But i think it's not. I come to the hotel at 14.30, one day before i informed them and checked my booking, because i already booked and paid but thre's not an email confirmation, sms, or another confirmation. And when i came, the receptionist said wait for minute, they want to prepared my room. And it takes more than 25 minute to wait for them. 3 people who wait with me got angry and go to reception to ask how long we should wait. Then they gave me the superior king room with single bed. The carpet was dirty. The wall has cracked (look at my photo) The card for the room wasn't very proffesional, it's cracked and dirty (look at my photo) The main shower leaked out The air cond was broke, it ons but let out hot air not fresh. I called the service room, they came so long time, then they go out for check again the controller room, and come again after 30 mins (so long) they said we got the new room near this room. The new room has the same condition, carpet dirty, main shower leaked out, and the air cond still broke, it let out the hot air not fresh like normal air cond. Oh i'm so tired to complained so i accept it. The hot water didn't work in the night when i take a bath at 22.00 and in the morning 04.00. Its started working when i take a bath again at 11.00 When i came to the hotel at 10.30 the card for enter the room didn't work, i called the receptionist, they said someone will come to my room but doesn't happend until 15 mins wait. So my husband must go to the receptionist to ask a new card. What a bad service! The hotel ambience was spooky. When i told my friends who live at bandung, she agree with my opinion. I was highly convinced by the hotel's fancy name just to find out that this hotel is undoubtedly one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in my life, and I'm not even exaggerating.

Here are my honest experience with this hotel so far:

Cockroaches in my room. Can't contact the housekeeping section, had to call the lobby office. The staffs have vacuumed the room, and still left with a few of them. The staffs are friendly, but the lobby staff seems somewhat clueless.

Very sure they have not changed the bedsheets or bed covers, spotted a few noticeable strands of hair upon my arrival. Asked the staffs to change them as well.

Dirty and swirly carpets. They're very uncomfortable and sticky when you're stepping with your bare foot. Had to ask the staff to vacuum the carpets. They're no longer sticky, but it is still disgusting to step on with all of the hard parts.

The water drains VERY slowly from the sink that it is generally unusable when you need to wash your face or brush your teeth.

Ridiculous parking. Entering the parking basement area is easy, but leaving the parking basement is highly inconvenient with all those tight, sharp and steep U-turns. (I am using a large family car, which is Pajero Sport)

The room is very spacious, I mean like, very. I am staying at a deluxe room, and I'm sure the room was meant for two double beds. There's a lot of space to place an extra bed (if you brought any), but personally, I think it is uncomfortably spacious, especially when the lights are off.

Generally, it is an old hotel that is not really well-maintained with serious hygiene issue. I'm sure that this hotel itself is struggling to survive, but I am hoping that the hotel could improve a lot of these things in the future. Personally, I will not return...

Carpet and bedsheets had stain, my door wasnt working properly i had to pull an extra muscle to open, aircond weret functioning well even the outdoor air were colder than my room, sofa had stains as well i couldnt bring myself to lie there, room smelled moldy, toilet glassdoor sounds like bones cracking and it worried me it might collapse anytime, no hot water. The other room i ordered had strong smoke smell and aircond were much worse it felt so warm. Eggs corner at breakfast opened late sadly, and not much breakfast options too there.

The only good thing is the service was great, staffs were very acommodating, location was good. But i dont know if this will convince me enough to come back… seems like other guests had similar experience dated few months back and at my recent stay the conditions are still not improved.
