We recently stayed at a Hotel Citradream and had a mixed but generally positive experience.
Let's start with the positives. The breakfast was delicious, offering a variety of options. However, hygiene was a concern due to flies in the dining area. Although there were no reported cases of food poisoning, it's an issue that needs attention.
The makeup room service was excellent, with thorough replenishment of toiletries and towels. The spacious rooms were a standout feature, and the air conditioning provided a comfortable and cold environment. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently close to the train station.
On the downside, the parking situation was horrendous, with very limited space causing congestion. However, the staff promptly addressed issues like low water pressure, providing immediate assistance and successfully resolving the problem the next day. The incident highlighted their commitment to guest satisfaction, as they tried their best to increase the water pressure on the spot and fully fixed the issue by the next morning.
The hotel's location proved advantageous, with plenty of convenience stores and food stalls within walking distance. The availability of TV channels, including sports and BBC news, added to the overall guest experience.
A notable feature was the water dispensers on every floor, complemented by bottled water if the makeup room service was requested. The well-mannered and patient staff, despite language barriers, contributed to a positive overall impression.
In conclusion, while the hotel has its drawbacks like parking and hygiene concerns, the spacious rooms, attentive staff, and convenient location, coupled with their swift resolution of issues, make it a decent choice for a 2-star...
Read moreI recently stayed at this hotel and found the location to be very strategic. It's surrounded by many eateries, a 24-hour convenience store, and even a motorcycle rental service, making it very convenient for travelers. The price is also very reasonable, offering great value for what you pay. However, there are a few downsides. There was no hairdryer in the room, which would have been a nice addition. If you need to iron your clothes, you have to go to the ironing room on level 2, which is a bit inconvenient.Parking is limited, so it can be a bit challenging to find a spot, especially during busy times. A particularly bad experience I had was when our motorcycle was moved to the organic waste area. I'm unsure if it was the staff or another guest who moved it, but this is a serious issue that needs attention. The staff should be more alert and careful to prevent such incidents, as it was an unpleasant experience.Overall, the hotel is decent, but there are some areas that need improvement, especially regarding staff attention...
Read moreIt was my second time staying at Citradream Bandung. Strategically located in Pasirkaliki district, the hotel is just 5 minutes away from Bandung Station and a 10-minute walk to Paskal 23 Mall. Everything is within a walking distance and there are some convenience stores around. ||||The room was somewhat small but at least it wasn't claustrophobic. Our window overlooked the street and it was good to see the view outside, especially in the morning where people started their activities around the premises. ||||Design-wise, the room was okay. The interior was typical of a cookie-cutter budget hotel room, but at least it was neatly designed. In-room amenities were in good condition. The bathroom was too "gloomy" for me but I liked their shower. Overall, the visit was pleasant. If I have to pick some affordable accommodations to recommend, I would mention this hotel as one of...
