Grand Royal Denai Hotel — Hotel in Bukittinggi

Stayed in room 312 15-17apr 2023. Good size room for family of 4 (2 kids under 12), quiet, bright, clean, comfy. No view outside the window but we didn't mind because we were outside all day anyway. Clean bathroom, the sink needs work though. And the room carpet needs to be vacuumed more :). Our room has no fridge. AC and hot water work perfectly. Food is ok. Friendly and helpful staff from security to front office. Please prepare 200k for room deposit. Parking space is ok, can fit 15-20 I think. Perfect location, only 500m walk to Jam Gadang, lots of F&B nearby. I recommend guests to visit Fort De Kock right in front of hotel. Cool weathered place, beautiful view of the city, well maintained, instagrammable photo spots, and kids will love their zoo. Walk passed the bridge and you can see elephants, birds, zebras, tiger, orangutan, and reptiles. Price for 2 adults and 2 kids are 90k on Mondays. Totally worth it! They also have family benteng restaurant upfront with the famous ayam pop cuisine. Fort's Parking lot can accommodate upto 10 cars. Will not hesitate to stay in this hotel again :) Keep up...

We booked this hotel only for 1 nights, seance we try to check in started to be drama, on reservation I mention I like to get 1 big bed and 1 extra bed, as we travel with kids, so receptionist give us 2 small beds and no extra bed, after some time arguing, they give us different room, extra bed waiting long, next internet not working totally, we called and asked so many times nobody care,

I traveling lots and this is really bad hotel, not recommend for travelers who like things to be right, if you don't care we're you sleeping then maybe yes,

Management must take action really seriously on this, Room was dirty we find girls hairs lots in room, our bed was kind of not dry, Really bad...
