Mangga Bungalow — Hotel in Denpasar Selatan

Excellent location- 7 min walk to Sindhu beach as well as to Segara beach. Near many restaurants, shops, money changer. 20 min walk to Sanur Port, 25k by Grab. Grab, blue taxi easily available outside the bungalow. Can take luggage right upto the room easily as there are no steps. About 30 meters off the main road which makes it very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful property, lovely pool, excellent internet outside the room near kitchen where there are several chairs to sit and browse, and good internet inside the room as well. Common kitchen with gas stove and utensils that can be used by guests, a refrigerator with freezer that is available for use by guests. Room well designed, big, clean, AC works well, bed comfortable, clean sheets, well lit. Bath had great shower with reliable hot water. Plus Made who’s always there to help. He kindly agreed to let me store my excess baggage for five days when I was away to Nusa islands. Couldn’t ask for anything more than this....

Travelled to Bali for work with two other colleagues. Did a last minute booking and it was available. We had one each room. I requested to check in early as I was arriving earlier. My other two colleagues came after check out time. It’s a lovely, quiet and not so complicated apartment like rooms facing outwards into a small and comfy yard. Made (caretaker) was so welcoming and offered coffee and tea every morning. It is clean and if you are looking for a budget place to stay and right in the middle of town, this is a great place to stay. Not so much for a family kind of stay I would say as the space is less. Room was cleaned everyday and towels washed. Very clean and since we were here for a conference, we decided to choose this place. Exceptionally good value for money, very sweet quaint little spot, good cold pool small but deep and not too small, very quiet and exceptionally central location very close to beach and town. But what sets this place apart is Made and his family, so welcoming so kind and just awesome energy to be around! Made would have a bali coffee ready for me as soon as i stepped outside each day - always at the ready to cafinate ya and man he makes a good brew! Will absolutely stay again, made is just wonderful- world famous in sanur for his epic hospitality!!!! The bonus was his neighbours cats, who really live with made ( who takes such good care of them!!! ) very good entertainment- oh AND the bed bath as SO comfortable!! Look forward to staying...
