This is my second visit and still love what I ordered.
Foods: They served International Cuisine with some Asian-inspired dishes as well. We ordered Levantine Lamb Pizza, Potato Salad Side Dish, as well as South East Asian Grilled Chicken. Overall, IT WAS UNDOUBTEDLY DELICIOUS! Chef's kiss! • Levantine Lamb Pizza: Generous topping, spicy, but not too spicy for my taste. Big portion for two people. Definitely our new benchmark when comparing pizza from other places. The crust is thin (with the perfect amount of chewiness and crispiness), the toppings compliments each other. I think the best pizza I had so far. • South East Asian Grilled Chicken: Tasty and fulfilling. Again, it's not too spicy for my taste. The rice and chicken was quite salty for me but my husband said it was okay. So, it depends. • Potato Salad: Refreshingly good! My husband liked it so much that it was gone before I took any pics of it.
Drinks: My husband ordered Bintang Beer and Aqua Stillwater. Meanwhile, I ordered Iced Lychee tea. The Lychee Tea tasted decent although it has only one lychee for garnish. Perhaps they crushed/juice the lychee and add it to the tea so that it is not visibly there, but it tasted like it.
Service: Worth the additional 6% service charge in the final bill. The wait staff are friendly and accommodating. Keep it up.
The place: Spacious! We were told that they can accommodate up to 1000 people in the garden (standing). They also have outdoor kids playground area. The garden is covered with synthetic grass but it doesn't feel fake. There are also trees surrounding the area which makes it less hot in the afternoon (I guess, we dine in at night). When we visited for the first time, it was during the peak of hot and humid season. Would be better if they place standing fan around the outdoor area (especially near the kids playground area) so that's it is not too hot during the summer. However, when we visited the second time, it was raining cats and dogs. We were seated next to the garden and get a bit of rain but it was okay. Overall, well maintained garden, beautiful surroundings, and the tables are decently spaced.
Additional information: • We were given complimentary "appetizers" of Kerupuk and Sweet Potato Chip with what I think was humus as the dipping (pic is attached) • To get the table you want, reservation might be needed in advance • Kids friendly. They serve kids menu. They'll bring baby chair and coloring pencil to your table when asked. The kids menu double as coloring paper. • Kids playground is a bit spacious however unsupervised • Outdoor area is non-smoking • Final bill is a subject to 16.6% tax and service charge • Free flow drinking water in a pitcher is available upon request • Separate parking space is available at no extra charge. Located within more or less 3 minutes walking distance from the restaurant. About 6 minutes or less back and forth.
Points for improvements: all good ;))
It was truly a pleasant experience to have a dinner at your place. Will surely come back again in the future. Keep up...
Read moreWe did not have plan having dinner here and just around the area when it's time for the dinner. I was surprised the place is big with lot of empty space between tables that make it feel spacious and easy to breath.
We ordered pizza, fish & chips. And some beverages.
The pizza probably baked too long that make it feel too hard for me, but still okay.
For the Fish & Chips, the fish feel fresh and taste great, I highly recommend this.
I also ordered Mojito, the alchohol feel too weak for me, too much ice & water. If only I knew before come if their specialty is beer, I will ordered beer.
Something that maybe can be improved in the future for the staffs to recommend the customer if their specialty is beer.
For the staff & hospitality, it's EXCELLENT, I have high expectation for hospitality when choosing restaurant yet they did it above my expectation. The attitude is fun & casual, yet still professionals.
There are small tests that I did to test the staffs attention to details and hospitality.
When I asked if it's possible to get a big bottle of water, because a glass of water too small for me and I didn't like to keep ordering water for our kids. Mr. Kadek Karyasa (one of the staff) answered with "He would liked to do it for us, they have big bottle. But it's probably out of procedure and the boss might not allowed it". The words "He would like to", I really appreciate it. He want to help although even unable to due to procedure.
When I asked for the bill, he goes to the cashier then quickly back to us and tell us that he have one of the staff preparing the bill and he will come to us. This is great approach, he informed us and make it clear to us what to expect. Some small details that I thing the other restaurants I experienced have missed it.
Special thanks to Mr. Kadek Karyasa that being fun and handle us professionally (now you know why I asked your full name). I hope in the future you read this and be proud for the excellent service you did for us.
For the system, there is only 1 thing that I believe need to improve. When we first sit, the staff told us if they have online menu. We scan using smartphone and open it.
The texts too small that make it hard to read on smartphone. We end up frustated and asked if they have a book or offline menu. We got the offline menu which it like newspaper, it's an unique idea and great that we finally able to read the menu.
Conclusion: Even though for the pricing I will categorize as mid to high, but the experience, food taste and excellent service make it worth for us.
Definitely will back again if we around the area.
ps: me, as someone who specialized in IT (Internet Technology). I know how to improve your online menu. I'm happy if you want to contact me how to make it better or just want to consult about IT.
Not trying to promote my business, it just something that bother me personally when I see something excellent and I can do...
Read moreWe arrived and were amazed by the look of the entire set up. It looks outstanding and can see a lot of thought and investment went into it.
Unfortunately that is where the WOW stopped. We ordered drinks and starters and the drinks came and my Negroni (which I always order) was not up to standard. Something was not right but I left it at that.
Our starters (Nachos & cold meat platter for 4) came and it was okay. The Nachos was good (8/10), the cold meat platter (5/10) - the quality of the meat was cheap supermarket and not what you would expect at a restaurant. But, till here we were still pleased.
Now we are waiting for out mains. Took a while to come. First the cauliflower side dish came, it was cold, so we waited. We had to ask for cutlery as ours were taken when they cleaned the table. The 8min later the one main came out which was the fish. We asked about the other food as we want to eat together as a family. They said, it is coming. 6min later the other side dish came which was the pumpkin. My wife started to eat but the fish was already cold. Almost of it stand for a while in the kitchen. 11min later the other main dish came (chicken) and 7min later the other chicken dish.
All the food came cold. I believe they have been waiting in the kitchen. The biggest frustration was that when I ask where the other dishes were. The waiter told me that we need to wait as everyone is waiting. Darm... The issue is not the waiting, it is okay if we all waiting. But to bring the food staggered is the issue.
At the end, after I paid (plus there were a mistake on the bill) they came with free cheese cake and apologise for the service.
Cannot blame the staff, but the management and owner. I cannot believe how you invest in setting the place up and do a good job, but fail to get proper management. The place is poorly managed that is it. I suppose if the food came together and warm, it would have been a total different story.
Don't have high expectations of...
