Staying at Cendhani Raras Gallery has one undeniable plus: the location is super strategic for anyone who loves to eat, like me, especially in the Jakal and Condong Catur area. You can easily find delicious food just by stepping outside – there are so many options! I also really loved their rooftop cafe. The view of Mount Merapi from up there is truly captivating, especially when you're relaxing in the afternoon or enjoying your morning coffee. It's just a shame that when I stayed, the cleanliness could have been better. I initially tried staying in a Standard room. Honestly, the bed was quite uncomfortable, and the cleanliness wasn't very satisfactory for me. However, when I moved to a Deluxe room, it was a night and day difference! The room was cleaner, and most importantly, I slept much better because the bed was significantly better. In conclusion, if you're looking for accommodation with a fantastic location for food lovers and a rooftop with an amazing mountain view, Cendhani Raras could be an option. it was a nice experience staying here. the place was in the Tiyasan, which quite far from Malioboro, it takes approximately 20 minutes. But luckily near the place there are lot of restaurants and cafe which is worth to try. There is Sate Ratu, Wah Ini Nasi Sapi, Bakmie place and many more. When i stay here, i got the king room which close to the rooftop cafe. the place was so cozy, super clean, the staff was super nice. the room was quite spacious, with samsung smart tv, mini fridge, a king large bed with 4 fluffy pillows, AC, there is also place to put your stuff and clothes. the bathroom was also quite spacious and again, very clean. this is kinda unfair but i stayed here for a week and in my last day of stay i heard from the cafe staff that if you stay at this place you have 1 chance to get free a glass of smoothie per day (this is based on my experience. idk the detail of the terms, if you guys wanna know please confirm it to the staff first). anyway, the food in the cafe was delicious as well. the cafe has 3 parts, indoor with AC and no-smoking area, smoking area which consists of little bench in front of the cafe and the rooftop for more seats. in conclusion, the price we paid was worth with the experience and service that we got. i think i can go back and stay here again one day if i come to Jogja again.
