Read moreI stayed here for 1 night.||||The hotel is located in the back lane. Taxi driver had no problem to find this hotel. Make sure you mention the hotel name right and bring along the hotel address to be safe because apparently there are about 3 LPP hotel in Jogja. It is approximately 20 minutes from the airport. Taxi fare may cost u Rp40k from the airport (buy ticket at the counter). The hotel is approximately 20 minutes drive to Malioboro - the shopping heaven.||||Facilities are very basic - shower, soap, toothbrush, towels, face towels, tv. There is no refrigerator, no wi fi or LAN cable in room. But there is a cyber cafe at the lobby in case u need any. There is a spa which may cost u Rp150,000 for a 90 minutes traditional massage, It is really good.||||They serve breakfast from 6am-10am (if not mistaken) and in-room menu but since i had to leave at 430am the next day, so i did not try the breakfast. They arrange with the front office, they can pack some food for your breakfast if you need to leave early.||||Get a help from front desk if you need a taxi, they will call for you. No additional charges.||||Trishaws are on standby in front of the hotel. We took one from the hotel to Ambarrukmo Plaza, approx 10minutes from the hotel. It cost us Rp15k for one way.||||We tried to look for a motorbike for rent, but could not find any here. Maybe not at the hotel area i supposed.||||There are a few eating places next to the hotel which opens until late nite. There are also some shops along the streets. Other than that, there'e nothing much to do around here.||||Sleeping experience - Satisfying. Bed was soft.||||There is a mosque at the hotel which opens 24 hours. You can hear the adzan clearly. So no worry for the muslims.||||Overall experience...
Read moreSupposed to stay for two nights at this hotel for a friends reunion. Got into our room/suite with living room, "kitchen" and sleeping area and found out that only the sleeping area has air conditioning. The problem is that the AC was barely able to cool down the room (in the humid and hot Jogjakarta). The rest of the suite was hot and humid. The unit was musty smelling with faint /unpleasant public restroom odor. Living area and sleeping area are furnished bare bone style.||Bathroom hot water was non existent made worst by minimal water flow which makes showering unpleasantly long and messy (no shower curtain on the bath tub). Water drainage in the bath was left uncovered with occasional cockroach coming out.||||Since I was coming with a group of more than 50 people, I was able to also find out that apparently some of the rooms are OK while the older rooms are in pretty much similar situation with our room i.e. not hot water, non working AC and cockroach infestation.||||The hotel is apparently owned by the government plantation sub-directorate (not private entity) which might explain the current situation and management lackluster commitment of running a proper hotel.||||I ended up staying in another hotel within the area during my reunion and only come back to my room in this hotel just for reunion activity during the day, at night I prefer to stay in a more decent...
