Hotel Puspa Sari — Hotel in Java

We landed up in Ciater on Easter Monday after 4 days of motorcycling across West Java. ||||The cool, misty mountainous feel was welcome, even if we got soaked riding up through the extensive tea-estates, and although the room we booked was on the small side it was well furnished and comfortable, and we slept well. ||||The attraction of the place is undoubtedly the hot springs which are cleverly piped into the grounds beneath the main hotel building, offering many places to test the healing qualities or just enjoy the warm waters. We just missed the weekend crowd but it was still quite busy. ||||As well as the hotel, there are villas in a quiet side section and dormitories for lower price and group accommodation. Outward bound attractions include tree walks, fox wires, paint ball, 4x4 and go-karting, plus other organised activities like archery, craft, music, etc. As we walked around the extensive grounds in the late afternoon there were clearly lots of fun things to do for all the family, particularly if they love the warm water pools and waterfalls, and the facilities appeared in reasonable state, if a little shabby. ||||We ate in the restaurant that evening and the food was OK - nothing special. On the other hand the breakfast was a good feast (try the "English Porridge" with honey - I had two helpings it was so good) and a great way to start another day of biking!!! The hotel restaurant is about 100m downhill with it's own hot springs, which I tried and thoroughly enjoyed. ||||No beer/wine for sale in the hotel so bring your own or shop up the road as we did for a few cans of Anker! ||||We would come back, particularly to climb Gunung Tangkubanperahu properly, run, cycle and walk. Main ke DCastello niatnya PP, tp bocil n suami ngajak nginep jd nyari yg dket2 situ aja dan cm kebagian yg kosong nemu hotel ini krna pas tgl merah n hari sabtu. Tadinya mau via Travelloka tp iseng2 pingin cobain onthespot, ehhh harga onthespot lebih mehong 70k trnyata🤭 Jd nyesel wkwk🤣 Utk halaman hotel luas banget yaaa, aku nginep si tipe Deluxe 500k extrabed 125k udh include srapan. Utk kamarnya standar ya luasnya, n syg bgt toiletnya bauuu gatau bau apa😭 minta kamper tp ttep aja bau, enek bgt. Minus gada guling tp mau minta jg males, kasurnya udh gk nyaman utk per nya hihi tp gpp sih masih bsa tdur nyenyak lah🤭 TV msh analog n cm ad channel GlobalTV aja, no AC, air toilet kecil n baru mke bntr air panasnya ksong jd mandi air dngin deh🥹 Kebagian d lt 2 pdhal liat di lt 1 msh bnyak yg ksong, cm gatau tipenya sm apa nggk. Pas dteng baru ada 1 ato 2 mobil aja yg nginep, tp makin malem makin rame. Fasilitas kolam renang air biasa gk hangat kecil kolamnya cm buat anak2, tp ktor kya kurg trawat jd bocilku gk ku izinin brenang. Bnyak ayunan n kursi taman enak buat bocil pagi2 main abis srapan, mushola luas n srapan aku jam 7 udh ready semua menu: nasgor, nasput, burcang, roti ceres, kopi, teh, lemontea, tlor cpok, capcay, mie goreng n buahnya smangka n pepaya. Utk ak rasanya kurg ya, tp suamiku abis2 aja sih makannya.🤭 Tp utk nginep darurat istirahat sm bocil sih lumayan yaa, lokasi jg straregis pinggir jalan n sbrang jalan bnyak yg jualan makanan klo mlem. Nasgor sbrang jalan mayan enak n hrga trjangkau😁 Pelayanan ramah yaa utk yg d restorannya jg bapak2nya baik ramah. Average room . Clean . The bed to small . Wifi service can not reach the room only up to front yard.
