Mason Pine Hotel — Hotel in Java

Spending 3 days 2 nights joining my kids best friends and his family for a short trip. Basically they have two building the Mason and Pine area. We got to try the Mason area, when we drop off to the lobby, they immediately assist us in taking care of our lagguage without delay. Even though we arrive at their peak time where the check out/in customer overlap.

We were welcome with this grandeur enchanting semi open area lobby where there were a grand piano at the centre and you get a glimpse of the pool sight. Very beautiful and heartwarming indeed. Welcome drink area available for choices like coffee, tea and infusion water.

Upon entering our room, very pleased with the comfort level, cleanliness with all amenities needed. Just in time to use the bathtub to soaked our tired feet and boody. Very spacious with private balcony directed to a beautiful view of pine tree like in the middle of the forest.

Options available for swimming pool, the big normal one and the one have sliding for kids activity. Not to worries though they have the shallow area even in the big pool, just need to be cautious with the steps in the pool coz they use the same color for everything than we need to be careful not to miss a step. Here comes the best part, by the pool side they provide new towels to dry after swimming and we may bring them back to the room ! How cool is that, super love it and helpful coz its getting colder after the swim.

Mason package comes with an afternoon tea which start at 3 pm. Varieties of pastries, coffee, tea and finger food available. Also the famous savory cuanki/cilok (made with glutinous flour). However for 2 days in the row we tried their afternoon tea, they doesnt seem to get any better, since I was expecting a different menu maybe but unfortunately day 1&2 only slight changes in pastry or sandwhiches were done the rest were smae old same old.

Kids will never get bored here for their very complete kids activity (also adult) in the play room they have: Mini Basket Ball Mini Golf Mini Billiard Sweeping game Ping Pong table Lego lots of other games (check out in my gallery)

Mason and Pine were connected we tried to the 8th flooor to see the breath taking view in the night is very beautiful. On the roof top we enjoy the beautiful view of the sky and moon also tried their bar and drinks till midnight, the weather gets colder and colder. Their Pina colada taste authentic and amazing !

For us parents, especially husbands not to worry, they have a billiard table, jacuzzi, sauna, fitness room and golf driving range for you to enjoy while the kids were having fun. Room of improvement if any is their breakfast menu experience. Although they have kids side area which is fun and they can choose by themselves which is good. Lots of option like western and indonesia mix fusion also the famous cuanki. Somehow not very mouthwatering and the variety from day 1 to day 2 is old same old same. Maybe if I stay for the 3rd day will not get their breakfast. Another thing is their parking lot, quite limited with no basement parking. We came in along with other 2 events in the hotel so having a hard time to find a parking.

Very nice experience for the first timer like...

A Five-Star Hotel near Padalarang Station.

This is my second stay at Mason Pine Hotel which says how much I enjoyed our staycation. What I enjoyed during my stay:

There are a lot of activities for adults and kids. Swimming, gym, archery, badminton, play ground, movie room, face painting, etc.

There are 3 restaurants on site which give a lot of options without going out.

The grounds are beautiful and well kept. A big plus to unwind and relax.

The breakfast buffet is worth it. I don’t usually prefer eating breakfast in the hotel but on my second stay the quoted rate is including breakfast and it was worth it. Plenty of food options, they even have Kids’ Buffet with lego pudding.

There is coffee machine in the room.

Here are small things that could be improved by the management.

On my first stay in Dec 2023 the hotel provided lotion as part of amenities kit. In Jan25 they didn’t. When I asked, they said that “Lotion is by request only.” I called the staff around 8pm to bring one as I forgot to bring mine and it never showed up. Given that this is a five star hotel, I don’t understand why lotion has to be “upon request.”

If you are in a rush don’t ask the concierge to bring your luggage to your room. It will take a while. I understand that the hotel is busy but service definitely needs to be improved.

No staff is checking the soap’s dispenser in two different restroom nearest to Santai restaurant. I checked every sink and they were all empty. Little detail that can be improved.

Hopefully the management will take my suggestions into consideration as I enjoyed my stay and looking forward to...

I booked mason premier king with terrace, the room is nice, comfy, clean... bathroom is spacious, great view, great lobby, great pool and children activity is the best...

Parking is bad... because they mixed the place with non guest... (There is a book exhibition at times) so a little bit not safe, and there is a chance you dont get parking spot

But...

Tha dinning experience is really awfull...

Start with the dinner, we need to wait a long time for the foods... and the staff didn't inform us anything for almost an hour... and the restaurant is empty...

After we pay... and walk back one of the staff yelled at us... "bapak sudah bayar?" From like 5 meters away in front of everyone... very shameful experience... how can she didnt know we already pay... and how she thinks we will walk away without paying...?

And then come breakfast... the most chaotic breakfast for a hotel we pay 3mil idr a day... Understand its school holiday, why they didn't divide the crowd from the beginning, they told us to wait 25minutes for a table... but suddenly, a laddy rushed in and asked for a seat... cuting the line.... and they let her in... without a table... leave the rest of 5-6 people queuing properly speechless

The kitchen is definitely not ready... most the station are empty. We got eggs with mostly oil, and the staff have a tendency to say yes for all of your requests, but keep forgetting everything...

No hospitality at all...

The hotel has so much potential, but i think they need to improve and train on their staff and kitchen...

Not recommend to go on...
