Royal Pho — Restaurant in West Java

Fav place in kotbar, their dishes are all great. But the service can take so long and theyre forgetful.

I made a reservation for 9 and ordered hours beforehand, yet they didnt attend to us who just sat down for half an hour thinking our food was coming/they would bring everything out when we had all arrived. I would expect someone would at east realise no one is holding a menu or there is no order receipt at the table, if thats how it works?

I had to approach and ask. Turns out they didnt even process our order yet although they confirmed they had. By the time they started processing, they told me they had to check if the dishes we served were still available or not. Even when they started processing, for some reason several orders didnt get transferred into the final receipt. We corrected them around 5 times about the order. All orders came after 1.5 hours of sitting.

I understand these are busy hours but taking reservations like this is important for the business. This ended being quite a stressful day for me as I had organised this reservation...

My dining experience at Royal Pho, Kota Baru Parahyangan was delightful. I ordered the beef pho, spring rolls, and dry noodles, and they were all exceptionally delicious. The beef pho was particularly impressive, and the spring rolls served as a tasty appetizer. I recommend this restaurant for those seeking authentic and flavorful Vietnamese cuisine.

In terms of service, Imas provided us with excellent care during our visit. She was attentive and friendly. Her warm hospitality enhanced our overall positive experience at the restaurant ✨

Regarding the dishes, while they were generally good, I believe there could be more variety in the spring roll fillings to provide a more textured experience. I also noticed that the spring roll sauce didn't quite complement the flavors (sauce-nya gak seimbang dengan rasa makanannya). Royal Pho adalah restoran masakan Vietnam yang sempat viral di Instagram. Mumpung lagi di Kota Baru Parahyangan, maka langsung terpikir untuk makan di Royal Pho.

Restoran berlokasi di lantai 3. Untuk aksesbilitas bisa menggunakan lift atau tangga.

Cha Gio (9/10) Tidak sepenuhnya murni egg roll, karena sejatinya isinya menyerupai kekian berupa daging cincang yang dibentuk lonjong. Setiap porsi mendapat tiga buah egg roll. Bumbunya cukup unik, terasa tidak pasaran. Menu dihidangkan dengan bihun rebus dan aneka ragam sayuran. Rasa Nuoc Cham yang asam segar sukses membuat egg roll dan bihun menjadi terasa segar.

Pho Bo Chin (9/10) Di Royal Pho terdapat beberapa jenis varian pho bo. Akhirnya memilih Pho Bo Chin. Pho bo ini menggunakan potongan daging sapi dalam bentuk persegi sebagai topping. Porsinya banyak, seimbang dengan porsi pho. Walaupun judulnya well done, anehnya tingkat kematangan daging malah medium well. Kok tidak sesuai dengan yang diklaim ya? Kuahnya memiliki citarasa yang cenderung minimalis, namun sama sekali tidak hambar. Rasanya gurih dan asam segar dari jeruk lemon. Porsi menu sangat besar, sekalipun memilih ukuran reguler. Ukuran mangkok yang digunakan juga tergolong sangat besar. Menu dihidangkan dengan daun kemangi dan jeruk lemon. Terdapat irisan cabai merah bagi yang suka pedas.

Com Tam Dao Biet (N/A) Ga nyobain, jadi tidak tahu seperti apa rasanya. Menariknya, menu ini diberikan banyak bawang goreng.

Mi Kho Chicken Royal (8.5/10) Awalnya hendak pesan bahn mi, namun karena habis maka akhirnya memilih Mi Kho Chicken Royal sebagai penggantinya. Mie yang digunakan memiliki tingkat ketebalan tipis seperti mie hongkong. Ayam panggangnya lumayan enak, meski bumbunya minimalis. Menu ini dihindangkan dengan 1 mangkok berisi kuah. Rasa kuahnya hampir sama seperti kuah pho bo. Diduga menggunakan basis yang sama.

Sebagai pelengkap, di meja disediakan 1 botol saus tauco (saya sebut tauco karena bau dan rasanya mirip tauco) dan 1 botol saus cabe asli dari Vietnam.
