Minory Guesthouse — Hotel in Kecamatan Abang

We just had such a lovley time there! The young couple that runs the place is unbelievable friendly and cared so great for us! They managed our laundry, hired snorkel equipment for us and we could rent a scooter from them. Also the place was so clean, you could eat from the floor and they cleaned the rooms every day. From the terrace you could just see the sea, which is maybe 6 meters away. I had to find a new place to stay as my other place was too dirty. the owners of the guesthouse picked me up at 11pm at my old place and drove me to the guesthouse. ||The rooms are big, clean and bright. As anywhere in Bali you will have animal noise around but I dont think it is much of an issue. I got to choose the breakfast, usually between pancakes and eggs, and it was delivered warm! I really don't like to give a bad review when the caretaker is such a lovely person, but we didn't find this place acceptable. The room and bed were nice and spacious, but the bathroom and sink were not so clean and could be smelled from the front door in the heat of the day. There was no toilet paper; we searched for soap for ages before we found a tiny bar hiding in the shower; the pillows were a deep shade of brown so we ended up not using them at all; wifi was largely unusable. Otherwise it's a good value basic room in a nice location with very kind people running the place. I wish I could say nicer things about it - if they fixed these issues I would...
