Hôtel Ganesh Lodge, Manggis, Karangasem — Hotel in Kecamatan Karangasem

We stayed three nights. The grounds are small but very well kept with loads of tropical plants. It’s far enough away from the main road (10 minute walk) that you don’t hear the traffic. There are some souvenir shops on the main road. The pool here is a natural shape and design. Very clean. Not too warm or too cold. The staff are all very friendly and polite. I had a massage there that was very nice. They arranged a driver that took us to several nearby temples and other attractions. The prices in the restaurant were not exorbitant. The food was great. Breakfast was quite adequate and filling. The A/C was good in our big room. The bed was extremely comfortable! There was an indoor/outdoor bathroom. A safe to lock up things. We had a large balcony with chairs overlooking the beautiful pool and grounds. One of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed in while in Bali. There’s not a swimmable beach here. But hire a driver to take you to Virgin beach...

Had the best stay at Ganesh lodge. All staff were happy and smiling all day! service excellent in the restaurant thanks to Jack and his amazing cocktails! The pool and scenery around the hotel are stunning and the rooms were extremely clean and homely. The bathrooms especially are amazing. The food in the restaurant was excellent and the prices are perfect. We really felt looked after staying at the lodge. Scooter hire and taxi service or day trips available from the main counter and there is always someone around to help if you need it. The staff are absolutely lovely here. My boyfriend and I stayed 10 nights in July. They went above and beyond for us, and the gardens and villas are so pretty and well maintained. It is very peaceful and quiet and off the main road. The hotel is not getting 5 stars however, as the breakfast menu is pitiful - there isn't a chef til 10am, so despite having an interesting looking breakfast menu, you cannot order off it! You have the choice of eggs on toast and fruit salad instead. This was pretty ridiculous - the kitchen/restaurant situation needs to be amended.
