Royal Garden Villas — Hotel in Kuta Selatan

Probably the best deal I've gotten in Bali was this treasure of a Villa I found. The ONLY problem I had was that Google Maps and Waze both directed me through the the worst possible road to get in.

Back to the Villas, Parking space is wide enough for an Xpander to fit in completely. You'll be using a card to access the villa, so make sure to keep it safe in your wallet.

Upon entering, you'll see 3 sunbeds next to the pool (a bit small, probably best for 3 people at most). Next we go inside the villa itself, you will be at the family room, which has 2 long L-sofas, a long table, and a TV. Next to it is a room. Middle of all, you'll see the stairway to the 2nd floor, and right next to it is a big kitchen with a dining table (cooking supplies, except for oil, are included).

2nd floor has a chilling room right in the middle, with next to it is 2 family rooms. Each room is satisfyingly wide, with a good & spacious bathroom and a closet.

The stuff here is friendly, and the atmosphere feels cozy at first.

But during the rainy season, it’s essentially uninhabitable. The house itself is plagued by mold, with a leaking roof and walls. Nothing was repaired in a timely manner. We had to keep dousing the walls with chlorine for nearly six weeks for remove mold.

However, the day before checking out, they went through all my clean cups and cheap cutlery as if I might have stolen them—despite my having paid about $10,000 for six months. It was very strange...
