Booked Singgah Villas Seminyak "Villa 7" on booking g.com after our flight was cancelled due to volcanic eruption.||This place got decent reviews and was reasonably highly rated so we were excited to arrive and enjoy our first stay in a villa.||Upon arrival we were booked in and paid up front, we were then taken to our home for the next 4 nights.||A quick glance of the villa showed lots of debris on top of the pool - no big deal leaves fall in the pool, happy to flick em out, as a pool owner I get that stuff falls in when there is trees around.||The villa inside didn't quite present as the pictures on booking.com this Villa is very run down the surfaces were dirty, the glass's were filthy and the bed linen was all stained both on the top dovet cover and the sheets.||The bathroom was horrendous, I cut my foot on exposed tile edge on way into the bathroom, the toilet was gross, the damp in the walls, mould and disrepair abundant. ||Note they did provide 2 towels, there was no face washer or bath matt, so the 2 towels were to be used for pool and showers.||The power sockets were holes in the wall, dodgy as.||Outside there was curtains you could pull down around the outdoor dining, nice right? Would be if they hadn't been grey brown from the mould and dirt....||Mozzie's were out of control we lite 2 x coils, the little buggers seemed to like those, we also sprayed up and were still being harassed.||Thought to myself get in the pool you will feel better with a cool down: how wrong I was, jumped in the pool and proceeded to clear all the surface debris out, when the surface was clear I was then able to see the bottom which had a heap of black stuff looked kinda like sticks and long stringy leaves. I then noticed the walls of the pool where the tile grout should be was mostly just black fuzzy mould, I was in the pool less than half an hour and my skin started to itch and my nether regions began to sting! What the hell???? Never had that happen before and i have owned a pool for 20 years and stayed in countless resorts, hotels etc with pools.||I got out of the pool, washed off in the shower.||Went into the room which despite spraying it out still had flying insects.||The idea of sleeping in the stained up bed with all the bugs and filth for the next 4 nites was too much.||We packed up and checked out. I advised reception we were not happy and were leaving, I told him about the pool etc. He gave us a partial refund.||Oh and get this, they list us as a no show to booking.com so that i could review them! Technically we paid for 1 nite even though we were there just over an hr. Cheeky Buggers...||Not a great experience at all, would definitely NOT...

Read moreOur stay at Singgah Villas Seminyak completely ruined our holiday and was nothing short of a disaster. The place is a deceptive scam, looking nothing like the pictures they advertise. The reality is a damp, unsafe property that should not even be operational.||||From the moment we arrived, we noticed serious maintenance issues, but the worst was yet to come. On our first day, one of my colleagues suffered a serious injury in their pool due to sharp, broken tiles. His foot was badly cut, requiring a doctor’s visit and professional medical dressing, costing us 1.5 million IDR. When we inspected the pool further, we found multiple broken tiles, some dangerously patched up with cement, proving they were well aware of this hazard and still allowed guests to use it.||||We immediately reported this to the staff, only to be told that the manager was conveniently on holiday. Instead of a proper response, we received a cold, impersonal WhatsApp text message from the manager—not even a courtesy call! Despite acknowledging the hotel’s fault and admitting responsibility, she refused to fully compensate us for both the doctor’s charges and a day’s stay, offering only one of the two. This lack of basic human decency is appalling—they were more focused on negotiating money rather than addressing the fact that their negligence caused a guest to bleed.||||To make matters worse, the manager had the audacity to suggest that the pool wasn’t in such a condition before, as if we were responsible for the broken tiles! This is despite the clear photographic evidence showing previous cement patches, proving they were aware of the problem but chose to ignore it. This is outright negligence.||||The entire experience was a disaster, and we had no choice but to accept a 1-night refund, absorbing the doctor’s expenses ourselves. This speaks volumes about how little they care about guests’ well-being.||||Aside from Aayu at reception, who was kind but clearly powerless, the staff and management were completely unhelpful and showed zero responsibility or basic ethics. The villas are in terrible condition and should not even be listed for sale in their current state.||||I will be reporting this to Bali tourism authorities because no guest should ever have to go through this kind of ordeal. DO NOT stay here—this place is unsafe, mismanaged, and operated by people who clearly don’t care about their...
