After hearing terrific recommendations from relatives for quite some time, I finally made my way to Pullman Ciawi Vimala Hills, and let me tell you—it was everything I hoped for and more. The whole experience was simply wonderful, and I’m already thinking about when I can return!

🛏️ The Room: Spacious, Stylish, and Thoughtful

We stayed in a connecting room, and it was impressively spacious and super clean. The design was thoughtful and cohesive—from the mirror detail in the bathroom that echoed the main room’s design, to the soft lighting at the minibar that added a warm, luxurious feel.

Each room comes fully equipped with amenities, including a small coffee machine—a lovely touch for morning rituals.

While everything was almost perfect, my husband and I (who sneaked in a bit of laptop work) found the desk area slightly dim for working. But really, that's a minor thing—after all, holidays are meant to be work-free, right? ;-)

🎯 Activities Galore – Never a Dull Moment

If you’re bringing kids, this resort is a paradise. The number of activities is impressive, and I doubt any child would ever say “I’m bored” here. Some of the things we tried:

Feeding animals: Bunnies, deer, and ducks—adorable and engaging. Art studio: We painted our own clock with acrylic and glitter—super fun and surprisingly therapeutic! Archery Basketball arcade Table tennis Swimming pool

One thing I highly recommend is to include breakfast when booking your stay. The breakfast selection was wonderful—a mix of local and international dishes, fresh juices, pastries, made-to-order stations, and more. It’s the kind of breakfast that makes you want to wake up early, take your time, and savor every bite. Definitely worth it!

📸 Captured Memories – A Lovely Surprise

One of the most memorable parts of our stay was the photo session offered by the resort. A friendly photographer followed us to a few beautiful spots, helped us pose, and captured the moment. Not just a snap-and-go—it felt personalized and genuine.

And the best part? The complimentary printed photo came in a beautiful wooden frame. A thoughtful touch that made it even more special. While they do offer paid packages for more prints or digital copies, the one we received was already a treasured keepsake.

Our recent stay at Pullman Vimala Hills Resort Spa and Convention was truly special as we celebrated our son's first birthday there. From arrival to departure, the experience was nothing short of exceptional—thanks to the convenient location, serene atmosphere, and outstanding service.

Location & Ambience Nestled in a peaceful area with breathtaking views of Mount Salak and lush green hills, the resort offers a calming escape into nature. It was the perfect setting for our family to unwind and create cherished memories together.

Warm & Professional Service What stood out the most was the genuine hospitality and professionalism of the entire staff—from security and valet parking to front desk, bellboys, and restaurant teams. As first-time parents traveling with an infant, we were initially concerned about managing all our baby’s needs. However, the staff went above and beyond to assist us, making our stay effortless and relaxing.

A special shout-out to Mr. Ghani and Mr. Yoga (restaurant staff) for their attentive service. They helped us choose a comfortable spot for breakfast and even recommended dishes suitable for our little one. Their thoughtfulness truly made our dining experience memorable!

Comfortable & Well-Appointed Room We stayed in an executive room with king-size bed, and it was impeccable—spacious, clean, and with a stunning view. My wife and son absolutely loved it. If we had to suggest one minor improvement, it would be upgrading the TV to a Smart TV with streaming apps like Netflix or YouTube for added in-room entertainment.

Final Thoughts Pullman Vimala Hills Resort Spa and Convention exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of a prime location, top-notch facilities, and heartfelt service made our family getaway unforgettable. The service was very poor. Asked for 2 extra towels and it took 1 hour to deliver them. Not to mention, had the dispute about the accor membership I used for the booking before the check in. First they let me check in successfully after I gave them the necessary booking number and ID card at 10 AM, and was told to wait for the room to be ready around 3 PM.

At around 2 PM I went back to the reception to check whether the room was ready, they asked for my ID card again and they caught me using different ID from the accor membership (the membership was my friend’s). The staff name was kattyela, she said she needed to report this finding to her manager, even tho I pleaded her not to, because the check in was already done at 10am in the morning anyway, and there were no dispute in the first place. But I assume she is a woman of virtue so she had to report it. The manager then came and spoke to me that he could only give me the room rate without breakfast. They took out the two free breakfast from my room rate. And I ended up complied paying for the two extra breakfast around IDR 570.000. If I had been told about this at 10pm, I would have probably looked at other hotels to stay in. But it was already 2pm and my toddler was already tired and I had no choice but to comply with them. Because it was their mistake for letting me check in at 10pm without any problem hence being too late to look at other hotels to stay, therefore I begged for a mercy asking for the free breakfast to still be given, but Farrel (the manager) told me that it would be to no avail because in the morning I would be rejected by the breakfast restaurant because they will ask for ID card. NEVER IN MY ENTIRE LIFE WAS I ASKED FOR MY ID CARD WHEN ENTERING RESTO FOR BREAKFAST AT ANY HOTEL WHEREVER PART OF THE WORLD I WENT TO. In the morning I went to the restaurant for breakfast, they didnt check anything regarding identity. IT’S A SHAME THE STAFF AND MANAGER AT 5 STAR HOTEL HAD TO LIE TO BACK THEIR ARGUMENTS.
