Singabu Bungalows — Hotel in Nusa Penida Subdistrict

This Place was amazing.The rooms, bathroom, pool blah blah was awesome to be expected however the stars of this place were the staff...We can't really remember all of their number, my apologies but all of them were top class, nice and extremely scary friendly :`D ...Mr.Douglas though, was the man who made our Nusa Penida trip awesome...I have no idea who he is in Nusa Penida but I think he is secretly a Don of the island because anyone who is anyone knows this guy ;) He drove us everywhere in Nusa Penida. He would always suggest places to visit and we would normally go hell yea. Also he is an incredibly surprisingly good photographer.Please please drop by to their restaurants. When we went there they invited us to a festival and when we went there they didn't treat us like guests but like family which is what we wanted, we wanted to be a part of this family. I could go on and on but there is a word limit :((( Please visit this place as a room can always be clean, food can always be tasty somewhere else but genuine true care is...

The stay and food are good, hosts are friendly. I have deducted two stars for following reasons

I found a spider-web + spider in my room. This was clearly visible and should have been removed before our arrival. We opted for their snorkeling package (tied up with Virgin Resort) which was not that great. 1 guide for 15 members on the boat - the guide did not explain anything and asked to jump in the water. Plus there was a cost variation - we gave IDR 250k per person Vs people from other hotel gave IDR 200K. (Maybe you can bargain at the hotel) They charge 100k IDR for scooty which is slightly higher than market rate (70k to 80k IDR) Pick up and drop service from Harbor - chargeable 100k IDR per pick up. (maybe this good enough, but i feel if i am taking pick up and drop both, then their own customer should get some benefit)

Rooms and pool was amazing with helping staff. Overall a good stay - would not recommend to book...

This was an absolute nightmare. I've been in Indonesia for 2 weeks now and this has by far been my worst meal. The problem starts with the ordering, I asked the waitress about the grilled fish and the amount of bones in it... asking if it was boneless or not. She just said "yes" and smiled. They don't actually know what you're asking, they just nod and smile. There was barely any fish. My friend ordered the "thai curry" and it didn't even resemble a curry. I honestly believe it was a microwaved meal. I then ordered the chicken noodle soup (hard to screw that up right I figured?) since I was still hungry, and what I got was the cheap version of a Minute Maid chicken soup. Absolute trash food. Nothing positive to add. There was also very loud live music, if you're in to that. Do not go here if you want to go home with a smile...
