KINOL Homestay — Hotel in Padang

Good and strategic location, lot of restos, fruit market, supermarket around...

I took room 201, for 2 weeks, since i am a solo traveller. ROOMS : Bed linens were clean and smell fresh, but the curtains and walls were stained! Dust and a bit dirty (plastic packaging, used tissues, hairs) were under and on the side of the bed.. need more attention for the housekeeping matters.

NO TV + Remote tv (if you are a tv giggs will suffer), NO AC REMOTE (but if you need to adjust your airconditioning, just ask the receptionist or staffs, they will help you immediatelly) Bathroom was cleaned, but sometime the smells come from the drain, so i bought kamper ball, which helps a lot, but not healthy... They do have hot and cold water.

• NO LOCK for the DOOR WINDOW IN THE ROOM TO GO TO THE TERRACE (somehow seems lack of the security for the Guest property), but i am ok at that time.

STAFFS : SUPER EXCELLENT STAFF SERVICE!! Especially Karin, Akmal, Baldi, Nadya, Ringgo, Nisa, ... who always fast response and helpfull.. also, always have a big smile on their face...thank you!

FOOD N BEVERAGES : So far, good taste, delicious, refreshing ! Easy acces if you need to consume something during your stay. They have good coffee too! And the music is good from Thursday - Sunday in their cafe downstair.

For the Management : Surely need to put attention on the HOUSEKEEPING MATTERS. I know some guest has a dirty habits, but you guys...

Family rooms actually are clean and cozy however there is no bathroom inside the boarding room which can be stayed for 8 people. You have to go outside to find the bathrooms which are only 2 provided with poor condition. Breakfast also served late which they promised to serve at 7am then became 8.30am 😕 Better to eat breakfast outside, just walk for couple minutes to find the coffee shops which served noodle, rice,...

Kalau ada opsi homestay/hotel lain, SEBAIKNYA CARI TEMPAT PENGINAPAN LAIN SAJA. Pengalaman saya di hotel ini kurang baik. Kalo soal lokasi sih, strategis ya, karena banyak pilihan makanan dan toko. Saya sebutin aja ya kelebihan dan kekurangannya menurut pengalaman pribadi.

Kelebihan: -Lokasi mudah dijangkau -Harga murah -Sarapannya enak -Ada kafe di lantai bawah

KEKURANGANNYA: -Kamar kotor (sprei, dinding, jendela seperti tidak pernah dibersihkan) -Perlengkapan di kamar tidak lengkap -AIR MATI dari sore dan baru ada jam 1 malam -HOME SERVICE TIDAK RAMAH (pengalaman saya diketok-ketok jam 12 malam hanya untuk menanyakan apakah di kamar jumlah orangnya melebihi 2 orang padahal jelas-jelas satu teman kami sudah pulang) -Kartu pintu kamar tidak diberikan (jadi susah kalau sering bepergian) -Cukup berisik karena lantai bawahnya kafe live music

Kepada pihak homestay, silakan dipertimbangkan keluhan pelanggan ya....
