Food is very underwhelming IMHO. Everything is kinda bland for Padang food, especially the rendang & ayam goreng. Not flavorful at all. Thankfully the Gulai is better, but really, still nothing special. The only delicious menu is ES JERUK. Pricing is also confusing. 2 persons ate, ordered rice, 1 rendang, 2 ayam goreng, 1 sayap ayam goreng, sambal merah & daun singkong, 1 es jeruk. Charged 172rb. They didn’t write what price is for what menu, just scribbles. Very overpriced for the quality & place. Same as Jakarta price? Don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Was recommended this restaurant as an authentic place for the Padang Rendang. Unfortunately this was not the case, I am extremely disappointed. Was offered random plates of food at first and I then simply asked for Rendang. I was given a small plate with two pieces of Rendang - the menu stated 21,000Rp which I thought meant for a playe, obviously. When I went to pay unfortunately I was asked to pay the price of each piece of Rendang which then amounted to double. Quite ridiculous if you ask me. Go elsewhere!

I find this restaurant an OVERRATED one. Food isn't cheap at all! It is priced per piece of meat (SMALL CHUNK OF BEEF) which was a surprised for us. It is basic taste and its overpriced for tourists. Nothing so special to say about this just an overrated one.... Never will come back nor recommend you can find somewhere else much better to try.

Attached is the receipt, We got : - rice for 2 - dendeng - cabe ijo - cassava curry - udang belado - cucumber - jengkol - rendang - lime juice and ice coffee. Total 289k idr I'm not sure what to judge of the price(I hope it's not tourist tax) but we had a feast at lamun ombak and it was less than 150k for two.

LEGENDARY! I love their authentic fried chicken. We ate 5 pcs chicken! Haha. They also serve so many Padang style cuisine. From fish, poultry to veggies all tasty! The sambal is also great not too spicy for my weak tongue. The price is worth it. We spend around IDR 150.000 for 2 pax.
