Hotel Anugerah — Hotel in Palembang

Came too early at 8.00 morning/ flown with first flight from Jakarta, the FO staff of the hotel greet us with a warm smile. It is a surprise that they gave us directly the room and let us check in while usually its 14.00, although it's Saturday with so many guests come and go. What a wonderful experience...! The room itself is enough for two, but the amenities is beyond expectation...! They provide toothbrush, flipflops, even tea and cofee maker which is some standard for 4 stars hotel, and also carpet sajadah for praying...a generous amenities. Talk about the location..it is superb...lies in one of the main streets of Palembang....the hotel itself is beside the big Charitas, a Christian hospital, and downstairs adjacent are shops and resto like Mc Donalds, Brasserie breadstore, Kopitiam cafe, resto Mei Mei and much more. Also, and array of ATM is available.Taxis are easy, and to go to Ampera/ Musi bridge or Benteng Kuto Besak is only 15 minutes. Malls are nearby. Another good news, WiFi is free, and the breakfast is quite sumptuous. Friendly and helpful staff. The problem is only with the parking lot and the lift is...

stayed for two night for business trip, I choose this hotel because I recognize Swiss belinn brand, however it's quite disappointing, compare to other chain this hotel is so aging. ||||The furniture is old, the sofa in the lobby is not comfortable, the cheap CNY decorations at the corridor, and when you enter the room, it feels soooo old. Stained bed-sheet (so I have to sleep on the duvet), torn sofa, torn towel, and they even put used toiletries (half empty shampoo), broken and smelly water heater and the worst thing is the used to be white bathroom mat, change to dark grey and still use by the hotel.||They really need to do renovation if they still want to stay in the business.||||I don't really mind if I can have a good rest after a tiring day, but this hotel definitely don't have sound proof windows, so you will hear every motorcycle or people talk on the street. So light sleeper should avoid this hotel.||||The plus is only the nice receptionist and the location, other than that, it's not worth the money you spend. I'd rather stay at generic Amaris with...

It is my second time to visit Palembang. Hotel Anugerah was the second place to stay during my business trip. Here's my opinion about this hotel:||• Location|It located at Jalan Jend. Sudirman and easy to find. A helpful neighborhood, there's Pempek Candy, McDonald's, banks, bakery, ATM (BNI, BCA, Mandiri, BRI), etc nearby.||• Facility and Services |To me, the front desk crews could be more friendly. The hotel itself was not a trendy-minimalist but quite comfortable hotel. They have a small lobby, toilet, and restaurant near the receptions. There are stairs and elevator to access their five floors. |The elevator is so small, some guests are prefer to take staircase to go upstairs (1st and 2nd floor). ||• Room|I took a deluxe room and found that the room was clean. I love a clean room. The shower, towels, amethyst are available in the bathroom. The bed is quite comfortable for me. They provide an electric kettle, LED TV, chair, and snack bar.||The room costs me IDR 430.000 or USD 33. After all, it worth...
