My husband and I honeymooned at Blue Karma Ubud, staying in the enchanting Bumi Room with a hammock overlooking the lush jungle. As professionals in the hospitality industry, we know exceptional service and quality when we see it, and Blue Karma exceeded our every expectation.

Service That Feels Like a Warm Embrace

The staff at Blue Karma are, without a doubt, the kindest and most attentive team we’ve ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, their hospitality felt like Forbes-rated service. Every detail was attended to with care, from seamlessly turning down our room whenever we stepped out to their warm and welcoming demeanor.

Two standout staff members, Dian and Dika from the restaurant, left a lasting impression. Their genuine kindness was apparent from our very first interaction. They, along with their team and interns, surprised us with the most romantic private dinner, complete with flower petals and meticulous attention to detail. It was a magical and unforgettable experience.

Special thanks also to Augus, who greeted us upon arrival and immediately made us feel at home with his charisma and kindness. At the airport, we met Tulus, a contracted driver with Blue Karma, whose attentiveness made our four-night stay effortless. He became our go-to driver, helping us tick off every item on our Ubud bucket list.

The Room of Our Dreams

Our Bumi Room was even more breathtaking in person. It was beautifully prepared with honeymoon touches, and I was overwhelmed with happiness when I saw how thoughtfully it had been set up. The hammock overlooking the jungle was a serene spot for relaxation, and every detail of the room spoke to the care and attention put into creating a perfect stay.

Cuisine as an Art Form

Dining at Blue Karma is an experience in itself. Each dish is crafted with intentional detail and feels like a work of art. The variety and presentation of our breakfast tray, brimming with delicious items, was a particular highlight. Every bite felt like a celebration of flavors and creativity.

Spa Serenity

The spa at Blue Karma offered the perfect way to unwind after traveling. We indulged in the 3-hour couple’s package, and it was pure bliss. The spa team was welcoming, skilled, and their massages left us completely rejuvenated. We ended our session with a flower bath overlooking the jungle—a moment that felt like a scene from a dream.

Why I choose Blue Karma Resort Ubud? I think that the resort is so beautiful compared to another 4 stars boutique resorts in Ubud, I mean their style is unique and it is true, second the resorts located near the Ubud Center (it's like 5 minutes with motorcycle), so if you want to enjoy the hype of Ubud at night, it will not be so scary at all when you need to come back to your resort :))

I had stayed at The Royal Suite Room or they called it with Bumi (or Earth), the most spacious room in their Ubud property. The view of the suite is tropical Ubud rain forest where you can re-energize your mind with the sound of Earth. The charm of ethnic touch of Javanese's Joglo and Papuan style of interior accessories makes this accommodation has a remote ambiance, but in fact, you can rent a motorcycle or bicycle to enjoy another side of Ubud.

The direction is also easy, from Ubud center therebetween Ubud Palaces, there is a Jl. Suweta, just go up until you find sort of field that usually being used by children to play football and turn left, follow the line and the resort will be on your left.

I had spent the day to relax and enjoy the pool, there will be a cozy gazebo for you to do nothing and enjoy the feel, you can read a book or blow by the wind until the sun goes down and you can go back to your room. RELAX SWIM RELAX SWIM REPEAT, that's why I loved being here in Ubud and choose to have stayed here at Blue Karma Resort Ubud!

Such an amazing place. I cannot fault it in any way. The staff are so unbelievably kind and helpful. The masseuses, the dining team, the front desk, the yoga instructors, the cleaning team, the gardeners, the drivers - every person at this resort is so friendly and sweet. We booked a package which included breakfast, daily massages, daily sound healing at Pyramid of Chi which is down the road, daily yoga, and a boreh scrub making lesson. The resort grounds and facilities are gorgeous. The yoga bungalow is picturesque. The dining area looks over the pool. Our room was divine, with the balcony at the back leading onto a small rice paddy. Beds and pillows are extremely comfortable and I’d take them home with me if I could. All of the masseuses were absolutely amazing. The yoga teachers were also fantastic. Every staff member that make this resort flow so flawlessly are the icing on the cake. The food is fresh and tasty. Wonderfully presented and decent portion sizes. Our included breakfast consisted of many choices and set menu options which you can swap things. We are so grateful for the wonderful stay that Blue Karma provided. Thank you again! We had a Villa with an overlooking garden (we received a free upgrade).
