Botanist by Blue Karma Secrets — Restaurant in Pulau Bali

Me and my partner recently had the pleasure of dining at Botanist Ubud, and were absolutely blown away by the food and service. The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting, inside the hotel Blue Karma Dijiwa, and has views of the surrounding rice paddies. The menu features a variety of dishes from local to a more western flair. So clearly we had to go for several meals as it was impossible to decide what to eat in one single meal. Strongly recommend the Norwegian Salmon which was perfectly cooked and so flavorful and the Chocolate Lava Cake, which was rich and decadent.

Botanist Ubud is truly a hidden gem in the heart of Ubud. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the lush greenery and serene ambiance—it felt like a sanctuary.

The food was an absolute delight! I tried the Grilled Mixed-Vegetable Salad with Garlic Citrus Dressing, Matcha Chicken Cashew, Blackening Cajun Spice John Dory Fillet, and the Matcha Parfait for dessert. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared, packed with flavor, and beautifully presented. The freshness of the ingredients really stood out.

The service was impeccable, with friendly and attentive staff who made sure I had the best experience.

Peaceful place with outstanding service and delicious food. Wayan was so attentive, professional and kind. As well as other members of his team. Out of all places we have been in Bali this restaurant has the most flexible and welcoming people. They are going beyond your expectations and provide excellent service. Accommodating any request and anticipating all needs. We were here few times , for lunch, dinner, breakfast and late drinks. Food is absolutely stunning. Made with big love. At the breakfast chef is stopping by each table making sure all is to great standard. They are proposing refill of coffee, juices or anything else. Just wow. We definitely going to be back.
