It all started with a very poorly responding landlord, a wrong promise of a long-term rental. Irresponsible owner who don't recharge his electricity, you end up with a beeping machine all night directly next to the room for this reason (in picture), and then you are asked to handle to turn it off yourself. Water drop outs countless times. Leaking sink, dog poop everywhere.

The worst part is the wrong demonstration of the room. Very professional photo shoots suggest a great stay, that there is no wall is cleverly hidden and mentioned no where. Unfortunately it's a great fake, as there is no full wall in your kitchen/living room and you are sharing smells, noises with the direct neighbour, feeling like he is living in your room. It created several arguments, as of course the privacy is severely disturbed and even the room is non smoking advertised through Airbnb, people have been smoking through the whole flat, and I couldn't sleep the whole night.

The worst part of this is the irresponsible and careless owner who rejects any fault and turns and twists bespoken facts as he wishes so he don't have to make any efforts or spend money. The missing wall is "just built like this Balinese style" and if you don't like it, move out. The smoking neighbours don't matter, because I haven't booked through Airbnb the facilities and rules of house stated on Airbnb (where I have found the room) don't apply to the flat. He even blamed me about my complaints about the wall, even though 5 guests who stayed there all had a problem with it, and left early because of it.

Latest I had to report him and the "room neighbour" to the police as she was an alcoholic and threatening me, beeing rude.

Landlord and the neighbour were great friends it seemd and teamed up to collectively bully me after my complaints. I spend days and hours of trouble, stress and inconvenience in this place and I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there given the terrible owner.

Latest I had to search a new home last minute because their constant attacs didn't have an end and their ruthless behaviour was just having no end. Terrible experience!!!

So, please don't get fooled by faked first impressions, this place is absolutely low quality.

If you wanna relax and have a good time, do yourself a favour and don’t book this place.

The wifi doesn’t work well so forget about working from home, there is always cuts of water, electricity or wifi. The place is really old and full of mosquitoes.

There are rats coming every night to get your food, it is really hard to sleep when you hear rats searching and eating your food. The owner will provide traps for the rats but it’s your responsibility to deal with it.

There is not really much privacy as you can hear everything your neighbours do and talk, sometimes it feels like they are sleeping on the same bed with you. It also makes sleeping very difficult as you can hear the voices and steps every single time of the day.

The only good thing is the lady that cleans and takes care of the place, she is really lovely and always...

Our stay here was amazing. The rooms were clean and maintained by the staff on a daily basis. Ketut kept in touch with me before our arrival to make arrangements for us. The property was cleaned on a daily basis, they also rented us bikes to get around ubud. I would suggest u rent scooters or cycles to move about and go sight seeing as the main places like monkey forest, palace and art market is like 15 mins by scooter. There is a small shop outside the property for snacks and quick meals if needed. Ketut made us good breakfast and even fresh mint tea when i was sick when we arrived. For further places ketut can arrange transport on request. The pool at the property is clean and maintained well...
