I am extremely disappointed with Bebek Tebasari Resto and I just had the worst dining experience of my life at this restaurant.
From the moment I sat down, I was greeted by an overwhelming number of flies, you may think I'm bragging, but I'm not-almost 10 of them buzzing around my table. I requested to be moved to another seat, but the new one was just as bad, covered in flies, and the staff seemed like they're used to it...
While I’m okay with paying a premium for good food, I expected a better quality for the price. I’ve had far better meals at other restaurants for the same cost even in Singapore! After being in the car for nearly two hours, I didn’t want to bother my driver by heading somewhere else. However, looking back, it was a huge mistake to stay.
The chips they served before the meal were damp—definitely not fresh. For the price, I expected some fresher food, or at least a better dining environment. To be honest, the taste wasn’t bad, although it doesn't taste very fresh and the chops was chewy...
I was shocked by how this restaurant is so highly rated. I just can't understand how anyone could accept such poor hygiene and lack of attention to detail in a place that charges definitely not low. For sure I won’t be returning and would recommend others to look elsewhere. Only if you like some flies flying around while you're...

Pricing: Spent a little over Rp 500,000 for 2 people (approx. $45 CAD for today's exchange rate). Seems pricey, but definitely a bang for my buck because what I paid is a price for ONE person in Vancouver, Canada. Each of us had drinks, a main course, as well as dessert. Nothing shared.
Food: Everything was tasty. • Complimentary taro & sweet potato chips to start, served with sambal dipping sauce. • Cold, refreshing drinks (iced lemon tea & papaya lass) were perfect for a hot summer day. Mild sweetness, just the way we preferred. • Main dishes (bebek tebasari) were served hot. The duck was nice and crispy with umami flavors. • Servings were just right for me. I was too full to finish everything, which was a shame because I hate wasting tasty food.
Atmosphere: Tranquil The table we ate at was a little hut with a serene view of a wide, green field. Thick cushions are there for comfort.
Service: Erna was the best! She provided excellent service from beginning until the end. Erna definitely knew the menu as she provided recommendations. Her timing was perfect whenever she checked on us to see how we were doing. She was not overbearing, and neither was she inattentive.
Thank you, Erna, for the...
