I can't express enough how wonderful it was to stay with this absolutely phenomenal family in their charming village. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in a warm, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The family went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Their genuine kindness and hospitality were unparalleled, making it not just a stay, but a truly authentic Balinese experience.

The guest house itself was a delightful retreat, nestled in the heart of the village. It was beautifully decorated, reflecting the rich culture and traditions of Bali, and equipped with all the comforts and amenities that we could wish for. The rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and offered stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Each day started with a delicious, home-cooked breakfast, featuring local ingredients and a variety of different foods and fruits. The family was also incredibly helpful in guiding us through the village and suggesting hidden gems and activities that only a local would know. This added an invaluable depth to our exploration of Bali.

Furthermore, the warmth and friendliness of the community were heartwarming. I had the opportunity to engage with the locals, learn about their way of life, and even participate in some of their traditional activities. It was an immersive experience that I will cherish forever.

This guest house is more than just a place to stay; it's a doorway into the heart of Balinese culture and hospitality. I can confidently say that it was one of the best guest houses I've ever stayed in, and my second time in Bali was made all the more memorable because of it. ABSOLUTE HEAVEN ❤️Without a doubt one of the top 3 accommodations we’ve ever stayed at, it was an absolute perfection. Amazing service with creative delicious breakfasts changing every day. Bungalows have everything you need, with very comfortable huge beds, AC, really cool furniture and lovely views of the nature around. Pool is gorgeous and super clean. The atmosphere is so tranquil, you feel like you are in the middle of a jungle. And on top of all that the owners are the sweetest people, doing everything they can to help with extra care. Als wir nach einer Unterkunft in der Nähe von Ubud gesucht haben, wollten wir etwas ruhiges, uriges, besonderes finden. Puri Sundaram war ein Volltreffer und hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Zehn Tage hier haben wir sehr genossen. Die Bauweise der Häuser und das Flair der ganzen Anlage hat uns sehr angesprochen. Der gepflegte Garten und Pool laden zum Entspannen und Meditieren ein. Das junge Ehepaar, Koming und Made, hat um uns gekümmert, jeden Morgen gab es ein reichhaltiges, leckeres und frisch zubereitetes Frühstück. Koming hat uns bei einem Workshop gezeigt, wie man Canang (Balinesische Opfergabe) selbst basteln kann und dabei viel über balinesische Kultur und Religion erzählt, das war sehr schöne Erfahrung und bleibt uns noch lange in Erinnerung. Mit Koming waren wir per WhatsApp im Kontakt, so konnte sie immer unsere Fragen beantworten und schickte uns einige Ausflugsorte, die wir noch nicht kannten. Sie konnte auch einen Tagesausflug für uns organisieren und einen Scooter für die Zeit unseres Aufenthalts günstig ausleihen. Koming ist für uns die freundlichste junge Frau, die wir je kennengelernt haben, hilfsbereit, aufmerksam, gütig und immer mit einem Lächeln auf dem Gesicht. Wir bedanken uns sehr für die Zeit und wünschen alles, alles Gute! Im Haus gibt es alles Nötigste auch für längeren Aufenthalt: bequemes Bett mit Moskitonetz, Klimaanlage, Schrank, Kommode, Kühlschrank, Spiegel, Wasserkocher, genug Stromdosen. Das Einzige, was wir vermisst haben, war eine Ablagefläche für unsere Badutensilien im Bad. Es wäre hilfreich ein Regal dort zu haben. In der Nacht hat ein Vogel auf dem Dach immer komische Töne von sich gemacht, beim Schlafen war es nicht störend, da wir wie Babys geschlafen haben, aber wir waren sehr neugierig, wer das seien könnte. Leider auch eine installierte App zum Erkennen von Vogelstimmen hat kein Ergebnis geliefert. Wie wir nach dem Urlaub herausgefunden haben, handelte es sich um keinen Vogel, sondern um ein balinesisches Geko :-D Wir können Puri Sundaram wärmstens empfehlen, ihr werdet nicht enttäuscht sein, wenn ihr nach der Entspannung und Ruhe in der grünen Oase nah der Ubud sucht.
