There was not much available in the city centre which was cheap and clean, so we decided to spend more. Well clean it was, but then the problems started.. We got a room at the 8th floor, but they were still building on the 7th and 8th!! They did not tell us, but we thought we are busy all day so we probably would not notice much. Sadly, this was not the case. We had an early flight that morning and decided to sleep when we arrived. Within an hour someone kept knocking on our door and waked is up. My boyfriend openend the door just a little to see what they wanted and they just walked in!! I was still in bed with barely clothes on. Luckily under the blanket but it was extremely rude. The following night they woke me up at 6am as they started constructions, crazy. We were so tired from not resting. The next day we also needed a powernap. They did not wake us (just lucky) but right after they knocked on our door 3 times!! Again, just walking in without asking and turning some switch. That is when we had enough and went to the reception. The girls did not speak english. They were speaking in front of us and giggling, super unprofessional. Then the female manager came, who wasnt much better. She only offered us a new room, which we should have gotten in the first place. No compensation, no sorry. We said we would think about it, as we found the over very weak. When we came back a man came to us and only offered us 100000 rupiah discount, which is about 8 euros. We paid 1800000 for 3 nights and breakfast so you can understand we were a bit insulted. After a million sorry's we could not do anything but accept it, because he did not seem to give in more and we did not want to ruin more time. So the next night he ensured us that nobody would knock on our door. Ok, but the staff woke me op at 2.30am by talking, laughing and walking extremely hard. The staff is trained so extremely bad. They only helped is with our bags after we had a problem. The people at breakfast were also looking uninterested. Overall the expect so much more for the money you spend. For the same noisy (also apart form the construction) is the same as a hostel where you pay 10 euros a night. You can hear the shower upstairs too hard. Also mosques and airplanes but I guess that would be anywhere. Oh and no handsoap. Am I expected to have this in my luggage or something? Even after we asked, they seemed not to have it in the hotel. Very weird. Also there is no hairdryer. Don't expect this hotel to improve after constructions are finishing due to the...

Great location! The hotel is located across from the train station which actually has a number of simple eating places and a minimart. Malioboro walking street is only a block away. It is packed at night with locals and tourists out to see and be seen. There is a mall on Malioboro street about 4 blocks away with a number of simple places to eat and a grocery store. Grab is always available and can take you anywhere in town for a few $US. The room price was about $33 per night with breakfast included.||||Being across from the train station, the horns on the trains woke me up multiple times each night. The bed was comfortable, the TV was good, the shower had decent pressure, but the toilet had a smell. Towels and sheets were stained and showed their age. The hotel will only give you one key, so if you have two or more independent persons staying here, room access would be a headache. The is no mini-fridge.||||I saw no other non-indonesians except me staying here. Front desk personnel spoke English but limited.||||Seating at breakfast was way too limited for the number eating, and several times when I went back for more I returned to find people seated at my table and unable to communicate because of language. I just sat in any empty spot and continued eating which freaked them out although they pretended to not see me sitting there. || The restaurant staff spoke no English at all so ordering eggs or drinks was tough, and I did not get what was desired a lot.||||The lobby, elevators, and hallways were clean and modern. I like this hotel and may stay here again based on the location and bed comfort, but will likely skip the breakfast and ask for better towels and sheets upon check-in.||||I will post a picture of the horribly stained chair in the room which I just covered with one of the...

Located on walking distance from Tugu Train station. It is ideal place to stay when arrive on train. It is also very close to center of attraction Malioboro Street and Keraton. The hotel is new (was not there on my last visit to Yogya). The place is generally clean.||||Do not expect to have good view here. When you're on elevator you can see untidy roof of neighbouring house. We ask for some information from staff in reception about local attraction, to our surprise they can not give sufficient answer. I guess the hotel need to familiarise their staff on what's happening around their hotel (where the cafe with good music, where is the busking area etc etc).||||There is spa flyer in the room, when we call for spa service, the staff said it only available after 18:00 hrs (we call at 16:00). Then we decide to search for outside spa which then come to the hotel. Later that evening the staff called and willing to give a promo for 10 minutes shoulder and back massage. Then we found out that they have a mutual contract with outside spa and actually they can be called at any time (not necessarily wait for 18:00). It is a simple 'laziness' from the staff to say it is available at 18:00. She should had called their spa partner first before giving un-favourable answer.||||Should you stay in this hotel ? YES, if the good points described above match your requirement.||NO, if you look for more peaceful place, with warmer...

Disappointing Experience for the Price I had a very disappointing stay at this hotel. While I understand that standards may vary depending on the local culture and expectations, certain things are universal, like cleanliness... especially for the price of 1 million IDR per night!! Here’s what I encountered: I found blood stains on the wall and suspicious marks that suggested inappropriate activity in the room. The bed linens had visible stains, and I even found a hair, which couldn't possibly be mine as I am bald. The TV cabinet was barely attached to the wall, making the room feel unsafe. Overall, the room was extremely dirty. Unfortunately, I was too tired upon arrival to inspect the room thoroughly, or I would have requested a change immediately. For the breakfast: The "Western" options were below standard: a bit of bread with chocolate sprinkles and something resembling pizza. I did not try the Indonesian breakfast, so I can't comment on that. The only positive aspect was the lobby, which was quite nice and well-maintained. However, the overall experience was shockingly overpriced. For 1 million IDR per night, I expected at least basic cleanliness and decent facilities. Even worse, there wasn’t a usable gym, which was quite disappointing especially for . Frankly, this hotel should charge a tenth of its current price for the experience they provide. I cannot recommend staying here unless they make significant improvements.

Sure, this hotel has a very strategic location, near the train station, near with Malioboro street, with huge variety of culinary treats you can try around the area, BUT you have to deal with subpar room and subpar facilities. When I checked in they told me the room was ready but the towel was gonna be given later. I was conflicted with this statement, but I still want to keep things positive, until I entered the room and disappointed. The toilet is super tiny most people would have difficulty to enter, AND the bidet was leaking nonstop. We paid the room with two beds but only ONE slipper given to us which was very logically weird. My biggest concern is the shower, it's not tightly attached to the wall (see my pic). Man, do you know that you're gonna have to be responsible if this shower head literally fall on people head?! Have you ever stopped and thought 'oh yeah I need to fix it for guest's safety'? We all have brains to think about many things besides profit so I hope you use them well. For this crucial safety concern I DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone to choose this hotel until they actually reflect on how much they scam people money for this diabolical condition. Of all the hotels I've visited around this area, I'm absolutely not gonna choose this hotel again in the future.

First impress checked in of female reception wasn't ok. No smile, no hospitalities. My voucher request for smoking room but they did not gave it, said ; hotel rules! First day: AC room wasn't work. Changed room. Another day in new subtitute room, no towel! I barely took bath without towel and realized it after all over my body wet. I have to opened the door as they send me towel in wet all over body.. omg!!!! Are they had no standar operating procedures? In breakfast, staffs are needed to be keep reminded to refill the empty dishes ovwr and over. Many excuses... They wanted customers follow hotel's rules but not for them selves!! And seemly, saying "sorry" is their habit as a final solution.. I don't want to get back here again. Many good hotel near for such prize.
