Honestly the service is appalling. Ordering furniture and expecting it to be on time , for get about it. After about 4 weeks I called the enquiry department they told me that the store sold more products than the manufacturer had made so I would have to wait even longer. The store is supposed to call you about any issue with the products which they did not do because as they said “they are to busy to be picking up their phone” so don’t even bother trying to call the store. I was told all the other things were in the store for up to a week but because one thing was missing they had to wait for the delivery to go through. I asked if I could take the stock that was there and just get the one thing delivered and when they went to check the stock everything I had ordered was there including the one item that supposedly wasn’t there and I was told I would get it delivered within the next week. I got no calls about the delivery, bare in mind the stock has been sitting there for 2 weeks already. I yet again had to call the enquiry service about my delivery and even their people couldn’t reach the store easily but when they did it was confirmed by the person I spoke to that the furniture would get here by today Friday the 14/08/2020 but on this morning I get a message that it in fact it won’t be here till Monday. Even though the store supposedly only delivers on Friday’s and Saturday’s. So all in all if you do order don’t pay for delivery and don’t even bother asking for any help from the manager or supervisor. So hopefully it’ll get here cause I’ve been waiting for nearly 6 weeks. And those are just some of the problems you many have with the furniture being delivered not including everything that goes on...
Read moreAlways a problem with queues in this store, even when the queue is only a few people. Was waiting for 20mins with one person in front of me. Eventually one of the cashiers called another person to go on the other till even though this person walked past several times, saw the queue which at this stage had another three behind me but never went near the till. I notice everytime somebody asked for stock, the person in the store takes out their phone, checks the website, then heads off to the store room to check again to tell the person that they have it or not. This seems to take an age. Should have a system that can tell them they have it or not. We had ordered 3 of the same item which were not in stock but would take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive. When we went home I had a look at the website which showed the next nearest store had 7 of the item. Would you not think the person in the store could suggest to the customer the option to collect this item is an hour drive away rather than wait weeks. I rang the customer service about this and all they said my order could not be transferred between stores and my best thing would be to return the items and buy them in the other store. So I reserved the items in the other store, went back and got the refund for the items which would take weeks to arrive and drove the hour to collect the items. Again, they spend enough time on their phone checking things for customers that they really should be able to see if the stock is literally down the road. Read moreOrdered on line 5 day's before collection, and after driving from wexford to portlaoise to there other store first to collect 4 items that where there in store, very fast service and staff where friendly, a very different experience when arriving in Waterford store went up with email and text confirmation for collection, to be told that our item wasn't there, then to be told that they have 2 in store and for our trouble they would give us someone else's furniture, not very fair on the other people and probably they have drove half way round the country to collect. Think they where doing us a favour, if they hadn't sold our item earlier things would of been different, but to make matters worse when i went up to pay for the item i was told again that the item is not for sale as they didn't have all the boxes. What a bloody joke and a waste of a very long drive. I would double check on line in future and call the store to see if they had the items first, but i wouldn't be going to the Waterford store again, but definitely to there portlaoise store wake up store...
