The room was dirty, Everything is broken and in an extremely poor state. Breakfast was inadequate and there was no butter on either of the two days that we stayed there. This is a hotel which caters for international guests and butter should be a basic requirements, in my opinion. We did not feel safe here and took our lives in our hands every time we switch the light on. |In addition to this, the water was at boiling point and first time we use the shower we just avoided completely scolding ourselves. They definitely should be a sign indicating the fact that the water is so hot. Anyone staying here with small children would be lucky to get out alive !|When I tried to Get the problems fixed, they were not interested and I am going to attach a copy of the conversations I had with them via Booking.com, which were unbelievable and outrageous in terms of their attitude to customer service. They refused to do anything, said they had fulfilled their minimum obligation to provide beds and food, and that I was welcome to write any comments I wanted to, but they would not be doing anything. We arrived with high hopes, especially with our baby in tow, expecting a comfortable and safe stay. To our horror, the room we were provided was reeked of cigarette smoke. It's hard to fathom how a reputable establishment could think it's appropriate to offer such an environment, especially for a young family.

When we brought this to the management's attention, alternative non-smoking rooms were unavailable, and there was also a stark refusal to refund our money despite our choosing not to stay there due to the unhealthy atmosphere. As a traveler, I rely on hotels to provide an essential health and safety standard. Regrettably, Rich Boutique Hotel failed on both counts during our visit.
