Sep 12 2022, we went there with the family with 2 kids. Booking was done by booking.com and I checked policy for kids, there kids free. (After my complain they changed all the policy for kids, but internet remember everything and I have proof screenshot which would share to the google ) upon arrival we very late check-in we met Tania the receptionist, our check-in been meet very rude dialog and arguments about the policy. No any idea about how to threat guest and hospitality business. She called her boss the owner of the hotel Gilad Kimkhie and he start to shout over the phone that we are disturb him in his rest time and he have to put kids to sleep. Seems like our kids wasn't counts and bother him, they was super tired and wants to sleep. I told him there will be no any additional payment for the room and he hung up the phone continue shouting at me. But he called back to Tania the receptionist which make some fun about all the story, he said no to collect any and we about to pay, then another arguments come up because they are trying to collect VAT but it illegally because booking was under my wife, she is foreigner and every hotel in Israel following the policy, show the passport then no vat to be collected . These guys made up they own policy and said show us the border control entrance note, I refuse because i simply dont have it with me. The next step she called again the boss, what he did is the worst thing what the hotel can do- He said do not accept them, i dont want them and I will refund but let them go. We been send it out without sleep by midnight. Would apricate if anyone will tell his story with this hotel and I sure we are no...
Read moreWe are family of 4, kids are 8 and 4 years old. When we reached this hotel from our trip to the South and Jerusalem, it was almost midnight so we supposed to have a late check in. Unfortunately upon arrival, the lady in the reception was so impolite and rude seeing we have 2 kids. She wants us to pay 2 extra pax for my kids. It wasn't a big deal though if we end up paying extra 2 but the arrogance and ill mannered receptionist starts talking back to us like she's not pleased to accept us late at night. My kids were so sleepy and tired that time as we travelled entire day. I was so shocked that she started yelling at us when we start to question regarding a child's policy stated in their site that kids has no addl charge, that they eventually change after the incident (my husband took a screenshot before they change it). The sad part here was my kids were not used to seeing this kind of situation so they start asking and get in panic. Next thing, the receptionist called the owner (hoping he has the quality to be of service to his guests). Then it was the opposite!!! He was shouting on top of his lungs and telling us to cancel our reservation instead!!! Our family travels a lot, both local and international, and this came as the worst of all from both tourism and hospitality industry. They're not apologetic and owner even said we are wasting his time coz it's his time to sleep and rest! Whew! This was so horrifying. Department of Tourism all over the world should take into consideration the quality of service and character of every hospitality employee. To the owner, you have your hotel but your money...
