We visited again in September 2024: They have a lovely porch overlooking the sea, but we didn't get to sit there because we hadn't reserved a place: a word to the wise.
It's still a good dairy restaurant. We ordered the crispy cauliflower starter with (not very garlic) aioli. It was pleasant, but a bit more garlic in the dip would have been nice.
We had the grilled sea bass filets as a main. This was a nice portion for two. The skin on the filets was crispy, and I liked the string bean and garlic side dish. We didn't read the fine print in the menu, so we were totally surprised to receive a focaccia with four spreads plus a plate of humus before the fish arrived. Much too much food.
Since we didn't anticipate the amount of food in the fish dish, we had ordered a second main course of potatoes au gratin. We barely touched it, and left a lot of food on the table. We really have to remember this for our next visit.
The restaurant was very busy in the lunch hour. Several groups were celebrating birthdays or other happy occasions, and it was clear that the staff was trying to make the occasion pleasant for them. However, sometimes it was hard to get the attention of a waitperson, of which there were really quite a few. I couldn't tell if there was one person assigned to our table, or you just hail down whoever passes by. I would rather have sat outside, as the patio seemed so much nicer than the inside space.
From 2019: Good dairy restaurant. Large portions that we couldn't finish. Parking lots on both sides...
Read moreSo.. One star is too much! We got a recommendation on this place, it has 4.5 stars on Google Maps, so we thought it would be a nice experience. Sadly, it was far from that. We arrived on time and we had a saved table, it took them 15 minutes to sit us down, at a table with two giant speakers and an electricity plug box, less then an ideal experience. After that it took another 15 minutes to sit us down at a better table, with no air conditioner felt by far. Then, it took a few minutes to get an order, okay, but, the silverware wasn't silver and not because it was in an original different color. The glasses seemed as if they were polished with dirt and the table and floor around us was sticky. After a few minutes, a waiter came with what seemed to be an ice coffee, and he just dropped it on us, then disappeared without even saying sorry, when someone finally came to clean a bit, they cleaned their chair instead of the baby stroller that was near the table. And then there was the food, we ordered amongst other things a vegan breakfast, they served an "omlete", which was tofu pieces with grill seasoning. Though I like grill seasoning, I don't eat a kebab in the morning. So the food was also horrible! If that isn't enough we didn't get any compensation on the spilled coffee, we asked four times for a baby chair, that we took ourselves and every request we made took forever to respond to! So in summary, don't go to this horrible place, I am sure there are nicer...
Read moreIt was nice for a while (We've come many times) we won't be coming back.
The chairs and tables had crumbs on them, the waitress brought us a dirty plate (she noticed as she was putting it down). Floor boards are broken, don't trip like I did. Some toilets broken.
We ordered a starter and 2 mains. Staff we very busy eating, hard to even get their attention. Our salad and other main(that was tasty) arrived. I asked, "oh is the starter coming too". About 5 minutes later a different waitress came to inform us that they don't even have that dish today and walked away no apology or offer to order something else.
The salad had brown lettuce, we couldn't find the avocado and stale bread on it instead of nachos, no nuts or sauce -almost like someone made it yesterday and picked at it before bringing it to us. A supervisor was meant to come but didn't...
They still tried to charge us for the salad that they took away and didn't replace.
A different (3rd) waiter saw the bill and said it would be fixed.
Good bye,...
