I like to start by saying we are a family that has been going on skiholidays all our life. We have stayed at both appartments as hotels. We booked 2 appartments after seeing photo's. The appartment of 5 was fine, enough space and everything. The appartment for 6 was horrible. It was actually a room for 4 people, in wich case is was spaceous enough. But now, they clapped out a bank as a bed, so there was no livingroom anymore. We were 6 adults and we could barely move. Also, no privacy for the people who had to sleep in the living room. Next, there was 1 room with a door. The other one had a room divider: sliding doors, that didn't work. So also no privacy and light for the ones sleeping in the living room. We mentioned it and got told they knew the problem, but they had no idea when it would be fixed. Why give us that room??? It was way too hot, but putting the heat on 15 degrees did not work. It was hot as hell in the appartment. We also booked the appartments because we had a baby, but there was no microwave in the entire building. Heating the food for the baby was horrible. No microwave in 2025??? Not even in the hotelkitchen? The baby also got sick the first night and threw up. The reaction of the staff was with no empathy at all. They acted like we did it on purpose and were very unkind to my sister. Next point: outdated rooms, but we could live with that. The next horrible thing: we were there in te last week of the season. Except for the owners, we never got a smile of any of the staffmembers. They wanted the season to end and that was very clear to us. They were renovating the top floor and the noises already started at 7 o'clock in the morning: NOT ok. Again: the season ended the SAME week. Why not wait a week? After that irritating fact, they also started working in the garden with excavators. We felt we didn't matter. Enjoying your terras? Nope, too much noise. Wich also woke up our baby every time so his sleeping schedule got ruined much! I also want to mention there were not much people in the complex anymore. Why not putting our familie in rooms next to eachother? No clue. Why not give us a decent room for 6-7 people? No clue. Oh and if you want to take your devices with you, you need converters, because the sockets are not updated. Haven't seen those in a long time. Last thing: the bar closes at 20h30 wich is early and they don't have a cozy space to sit in the bar. We missed that a lot as our appartment was soooo small. We left 2 days early because we couldn't stand the situation anymore.
Good things about the place: breakfast, clean beds, cleaning service daily, swimming pool, the location of the storage space for your ski equipment.
Overall feeling: too expensive for what we got, glad...
Read moreExcellent choice for our group ski trip, it is a quiet family run hotel. Location was perfect, it is a short walk to the lift in Champoluc and the hotel have a great set up with Tako ski rental where you can store your equipment next to the lifts so no carrying ski's, which we loved. Parking was free and the hotel offered our group a deal for 50% off ski passes which was great value. We stayed for four nights in apartments with small kitchenettes, the accommodation is basic but very fairly priced and functional for skiing. The beds were comfy and the views from the balcony are like a postcard as the village is beautiful. The breakfast included was really lovely, lots of options and local produce with barrista made coffee included. The afternoon snacks after ski with homemade biscuits and a warm fire were also a welcome and lovely additional touch. We had a late flight home on the Monday and the staff very kindly let us keep one of our apartments until 5pm for no additional charge so that we could ski for the whole last day which was really appreciated. There is also a small wellness centre with pool and sauna which helps with aching muscles. The hotel provide robes and flip flops which was another nice touch. Overall, we had...

A lovely relaxing hotel, we stayed in an apartment which was very spacious for the four of us, bunk beds, sofa bed and a separate bedroom. A small kitchenette finished it off. Our deal included breakfast which was very good, plenty of homemade jams, yogurts, breads etc. and every afternoon a snack was served for people returning from the slopes including hot chocolate, cookies and homemade brownies (the smell in the hotel was so tempting). The wellness centre is a small pool, very warm but good for aching muscles after a day's skiing (not big enough to do much swimming) and a sauna. There is an outside hot tub but costs 15 euro per person to use which I thought was a bit expensive but then I suppose it's expensive to run. Very relaxed feel to the hotel and will definitely...
