Hotel Chrys — Hotel in Bolzano - Bozen

Hotel Chrys is located in a quiet street surrounded by residences and vineyards. It's a pleasant 25 minute walk from the city center. Our room was clean and comfortable, but without extras such as minibar, coffee maker etc. The wellness area is very nice and well-appointed with sauna, steam room, hot tub, relax areas. The staff was nice and helpful. ||Breakfast was fair for an Italian hotel, with breads, croissants, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, juices and cereal. The coffee was self-service from an automat and a bit below the quality you might expect in Italy. Arriving late for breakfast meant limited choice. The balcony was shared with other rooms and lacked privacy. The hotel has been under renovation with some scaffolding still around and a few missing signs and fixtures, but no noisy work was going on during our stay.||Wifi was free, but weak and slow in the room.||Overall, we had an excellent stay and would not hesitate to stay at hotel...

I stayed in hotel Chrys for 4 days and on the second day I realised that we probably have bed bugs. After going to the reception to tell them about this, they told us it’s just mosquito bites and that we don’t have to worry because they disinfect the place every 10 days and that they did a “test” that day and there were “no bugs”. Because we didn’t see the bugs, we thought maybe it’s true, but we kept getting really bad bites every night. On our last night we found a bed bug and brought it to the reception - the guy didn’t even apologise and continued speaking in italian to our tour manager and not directly to us. Super disrespectful and careless manager of the hotel. If this happens, I would at least expect some accountability, but there was none. Ho prenotato in questo hotel perché è l'unico che accetta i buoni wellness a Bolzano. Quando ci siamo presentati per il check-in, la signora vedendo 2 ragazzi ci ha chiesto se volevamo i letti divisi così dormivamo più tranquilli; ma se la prenotazione è stata fatta con letti matrimoniali non mi sembra il caso di proporre altre alternative visto che si dovrebbe sapere che esistono anche coppie omosessuali! L'accoglienza è stata molto povera, senza ricevere informazioni abbastanza esaustive sui servizi dell'hotel. L'hotel si trova in una zona molto tranquilla, a pochi km dal cento di Bolzano, raggiungibile facilmente dalla linea bus 8 con numerose corse ogni giorno. L'area wellness è abbastanza buona, ma troppo piccola per il numero di persone che può ospitare l'hotel ed è aperta solo 6 ore al giorno, dalle 16 alle 22! La sauna è veramente piccolissima, il bagno turco è molto buono, le vasche idromassaggio sono piccole e solo 2, ma molto funzionali, molto carino il percorso docce emozionali e l'area relax con i sali. Una doccia era fuori servizio. Purtroppo non c'è della musica rilassante e nemmeno della tisana. La camera non offre molti servizi e i materassi sono piuttosto scomodi; le coperte del letto matrimoniale sono 2 singole e non un'unica matrimoniale. La cena non è molto buona e non offre molte pietanze tipiche. Buffet di antipasto con verdure crude miste e mozzarella; di primo abbiamo preso pasta alla norma (che non era molto alla norma) altrimenti l'alternativa era minestrone; di secondo c'era un buon salmone, mentre l'alternativa della tagliata di manzo non era una vera tagliata: sembrava roast beef camuffato con pezzi di mozzarella e pomodoro fresco! Contorni buoni (patate e cavolfiori gratinati). Il pane era vecchio e immangiabile! Dopo il secondo ci è arrivato un piatto misto di cibo un po' più tipico (puntina, salsiccia, maiale, canederli, crauti) che era avanzato forse dal giorno prima e non c'era nel menu; non siamo riusciti a digerirlo per tutta la notte e ci è rimasto nello stomaco, oltre ad essere disgustoso! Il dolce scritto nel menu (pera con cioccolato e vino) non c'era ed è arrivato un semplice semifreddo. Oltretutto abbiamo pagato la cena 30 euro (invece di 22) solo perché siamo andati con il buono wellness e pagato anche 4 euro in più per un litro di acqua! La colazione a buffet è poco ricca, pochissimo cibo salato e niente di tipico, pochi dolci e mancano le etichette dei cibi; pagata 12 euro a testa! Andateci solo se avete il buono altrimenti non ne...
