Our 2 weeks Sardinian holiday almost ended before it began. At Cagliari airport, luggage in hand, my app suddenly read: “Reservation cancelled.” My wife was unwell, and I stood frozen, imagining every worst-case scenario. One phone call later, everything changed. The Hotel Nautilus receptionist passed me to Mirko. Calm, professional, and kind, he assured me there was a solution: though the hotel was full, he arranged three different rooms over our two-week stay. That moment of relief felt like salvation — and it set the tone for the days ahead. Hotel Nautilus is more than a hotel; it’s a retreat by the sea. Just one minute from the beach, with free sunbeds and umbrellas, you wake up feeling as if you live on the shore. The restaurant staff are cheerful and attentive, setting up your spot each morning and serving food that can be billed directly to your room. Dinner on our first night was unforgettable. Mirko suggested a restaurant just 30 meters away, with a 10% guest discount. Authentic Sardinian cuisine, professional service, and affordable prices — we were hooked. The rooms, though simple in design, were immaculate and comfortable. Moving between three rooms, we noticed the same high standards in each. The location is brilliant: a quiet, car-free street by the sea, yet with a bus stop only a minute away. In under 20 minutes you’re in Cagliari, and bikes are available to explore the coast and the flamingo-filled park. Breakfast deserves special mention. Fresh, varied, and topped with some of the best coffee we’ve had in Italy. Every staff member, from breakfast service to reception to cleaning ladies, radiated warmth and professionalism. With three separate buildings, the hotel feels intimate, never crowded. What began with panic turned into one of the most memorable holidays of our lives. Mirko and the all hotel team not only saved our trip — they made it extraordinary. We’ll be back, without a doubt.

A serene seaside stay worth coming back to. This hotel strikes a wonderful balance between clean elegance and relaxed comfort. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by friendly, genuinely warm staff—from reception to housekeeping to the dining team. Everyone seemed happy to be there, and it shows in the way they treat guests. The location is unbeatable, just a short stroll to the beach, with a stunning sea view that you can enjoy right from your private balcony. Soaking in the sunset view each evening is a perfect way to wind down the day. Our room was spotless, and the housekeeping team kept it immaculate throughout our stay. The air conditioning was a dream—powerful and much appreciated during Summer. Most of all, having a shower under the rain shower with high water pressure, washing away the sticky sunscreen and salt was honestly, the highlight of my day. Breakfast was a daily highlight. Whether you're a protein person or a pastry enthusiast, there's something for everyone. I appreciated the option of eggs and bacon, alongside a lovely spread of sweet pastries, cakes, and fresh fruit. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with charming decor, thoughtful service, and all the essentials done right, this place delivers. A minor note: The TV lacked smart features like Netflix or streaming apps, so if in-room entertainment is a must for you, bring your own device. But honestly, with views and vibes this good, you probably won’t miss it. Would we come back? Absolutely! Highly recommended. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable.

Great hotel, lovely helpful staff! I booked the room with hot tub, as that was the only decent one left. Room etc: Room was relatively small ish, but big enough to be comfortable. The aircon is very weak, and not very noticeable during the day, but it was adequate enough at night. Hot tub was quite disappointing, the heating did not seem to work, forever lukewarm. It felt like there were TOO much chlorine, to the point of bubbling the water - it would sting my eyes from the little splashes.. rip. The view: The hotel is split to two parts. Not sure if there are more than 1 hot tub rooms, mine was located at the further back building, meaning the front building blocked the beautiful sea view. You can still see a bit, but not that great. Overall, it's better to try and get the sea view room that is at the front of the hotel. Hot tub is not worth it. Breakfast: Small variety but satisfies me, you should be going out to eat anyway. Location: Love it, being about 1 minute from the beach, and maybe 15 - 20mins bus from Cagliari, there's about 3 buses that goes by the hotel. PF PQ 5Zeus I believe. Oh, they have free rental bikes too, and a very long cycling lane beside the beach. You'll need to work off that pizza, pasta, gelato tiramisu anyway.
