Le Palmette Beach Club — Restaurant in Cagliari

This year I give them 3 stars and tell them BRAVO 👏 Last year it was a complete disaster, but we have decided to get back, because we have a good friends for whom is easier to go there. Their service became sufficient, their food is OK and their staff is not the same as last year. Yes, if you want to be close to Cagliari and have a nice day on the beach. p.s. Spaghetti with truffes is a MUST try!!! The wine is delicious 😋 However, toilets are dirty. They are full of wasps and flies. If you haven’t book a table in advance you have to wait for it for several hours. The place is good and actually it is full of young people. However, if you have a certain age and you have travelled a lot and you are picky like I am, don’t go there, as you will be disappointed at the end. In general it is OK if you have to be close to the city. Avoid to go there on Sunday. The place is packet, they cannot coop with all people at the same time. It becomes very complicated. Food becomes unbeatable and service become chaotic. And it is even dirtier than during the week days. p.s. I’ve enclosed the picture with octopus salad. Extremely disappointing experience – avoid unless they change their staff. I’ve been to this place twice, and both times left me regretting it. It’s one of those spots that tries hard to come across as upscale, but completely fails on the basics—like proper service and common courtesy.

One particular waitress, blonde-haired (you’ll know her if you see her), was shockingly rude. It felt like she had never worked in hospitality before, or even interacted with people in a professional setting. Her behavior alone ruined the entire experience for me.

After finishing lunch and paying, I was waiting for my cab—which their staff kindly offered to call for me. While waiting, that same waitress suddenly came over aggressively, accused me of sitting at a table without asking (despite the fact that her colleagues knew I was waiting), and physically took away my drink, saying “the table is clean” in a hostile tone. I was genuinely shocked. I’ve never felt so humiliated by someone who’s supposed to be providing service.

It’s a shame because the location is beautiful, but their choice of staff—particularly this entitled, unprofessional waitress—is tarnishing the entire image of the place. Management seriously needs to reevaluate who...

We ate here for the first 2days 1st day was fabulous 2nd day was not good my grandsons burger was raw in side znd the waitress was loathe to change it was quite rude actually..we got fish sandwich it was all mashed up and had no taste and cost 16euros (rip off)but se were on holiday..then my card was refused (its a prepayment card )I knew there was .oney on it ..the same waitress that was rude sbout the burger was rude again I felt like a thief it turned out that the internet at the post office had crashed.there were some lovely girls serving but to be honest it seems to be a vdry clicky bar for the locals ...my friendwent and asked for a sunbed in English and was told there weren't any so I went and as I speak italian I asked and we got them ..my friend was told to go down the beach to the next bar so the next day we did and went there everyday for breakfast lunch and also taking my family there..must say before covid I used to go to this bar alot and we loved it but this time we were very disappointed.
