is the third time we came to Poetta Beach and this restaurant. Each year it is getting worse, and after this time never again. The prices are not cheap, the portions are big, the good is ok but the service cannot go any worse! We arrived to this beach restaurant, there were four waiters around but none of them want to make an eye contact with you. After half an hour i went inside to ask for a waiter. After we ordered we had to wait another 20 minutes. No water and wrong order. We had to wait another 20 minutes after having asked for a bottle of water three times. Waiting time in total more than an hour, terrible service, not friendly stuff but not to blame on, this is a clear sign of a very bad management. The service is different to the locals though. If you are a local and speak the language, you are served way more faster. As soon as the food arrived they asked s for the bill as if we were running away. Again they do not do this to the locals. Never again, and good luck to their poor management. Things can go sour so fast without them even noticing this. There are other beach kiosks in the area, so it is not that they are the...
Read moreI absolutely do not recommend it! The service was acceptable, but the food was a huge disappointment. Not only did I receive a thin, large, T-bone-like piece of meat instead of the ribeye steak listed on the menu, but they were also unable to cook it medium. A bug crawled out of my wife's salad. When we informed the waiter, he offered to bring another portion, which we ultimately declined. It's important to note that the waiter brings the bill with the main course, and you have to pay before you've even eaten. :) What if I wanted a dessert? Or what if there's a bug in the salad?! When we indicated upon leaving that we expected some form of compensation, we eventually received a refund for the salad. We came here hungry, hoping for a good meal, but unfortunately, it was a...
Read moreVisited here three times during my stay. Decent beach front food. The T-Bone steak, for 20 euros, is huge, and comes medium rare, if perhaps a little medium. It comes with roast potatoes which are delicious.
Service was fine, very friendly, especially considering how busy it is.
It’s one of the cheapest restaurants in the area, too, which is a huge bonus if you’re in a large group and just looking for a bite at lunch.
Portions are massive. I mean, properly huge. The salads are a two person meal, and if you have children under twelve, literally any order on the menu will feed two.
The overall ambience of the restaurant is lovely. It’s very busy - in a good way - with lots going on, and a beautiful breeze is constantly blowing through to keep...
