Villa Almana — Hotel in Cernobbio

Oh. My. God. If you’ve stumbled across this review looking for somewhere to stay in Lake Como then stop scrolling and book it (if there are any rooms left).

This was one of the most lovely experiences we’ve had in a very long time and is one of the most beautiful stays we’ve ever had. A small hotel with only a small number of rooms makes for an intimate and delightful few nights.

The ownership team is too lovely and will take care of your every need, in addition to putting on a beautiful breakfast every morning for you. The rooms are very modern, bright, and fresh, and the big doors open up onto spectacular views. Instead of staying somewhere else where you feel just like a temporary resident, this is where you go if you want to feel a home away from home.

The pool and communal spaces make it the perfect venue to relax with a glass of wine (oh did I mention they’ve got a wine and beer fridge, and cellar you can jump into Jane et you want) and the hammocks around the grass mean that if you want to do nothing, you can.

Close by you’ve got Il Gatto Nero, a beautiful restaurant for one of your nights, and if you want to go further be sure to look into the bus because it makes life easy.

This is a classy, higher end place without any of the annoying stuffiness that comes with a lot of nicer venues. It’s understated and beautiful.

For real: book it now. You won’t regret it....

We recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Almana and I must say, it exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed with the attention to detail and the exceptional service.

Firstly, the location is absolutely stunning. Nestled amidst lush greenery and boasting a panoramic view of the mountains and the sea, the setting is truly breathtaking. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The rooms at Villa Almana are spacious, beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. I particularly enjoyed the private balcony that offered a stunning view of the sea.

What really sets Villa Almana apart is the outstanding customer service. They were always on hand to help with any request, and their knowledge of the local area was invaluable in helping me plan my daily activities.

Finally, the food at Villa Almana was absolutely delicious. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, from freshly baked bread to local specialties, and everything was of the highest quality.

Overall, I cannot recommend Villa Almana highly enough. The combination of stunning location, exceptional customer service, and delicious food make it the perfect place to stay for anyone looking for a getaway. You won’t regret it. I will definitely...

Beautiful early 1970’s era villa restored beyond its original aspirations. Anastasia and her husband have thoughtfully and beautifully renovated every aspect of the Villa. It has some of the most stunning views atop Cernobbio over-looking Lake Como. ||It has 6 comfortable, clean and spacious rooms and one full two-bedroom, two bathroom penthouse. At least 3 of the rooms have incredible lake views. It has a lovely breakfast patio and stunning infiniti pool; both overlooking the lake. The breakfast buffet is full and delicious but if that’s not enough they also have à la carte add-ons like pancakes, avotoast, and omelettes at very reasonable prices. ||Once breakfast is over at 10am, the buffet morphs into a complimentary snack and coffee bar. Cold drinks (from Cold Coronas to Champagne) all in a vintage common fridge are on an honor system of reasonable prices.||Even their free parking lot is lovely missing only an EV charger which would be nice for day trips to Milan which has a 7.50€ congestion charge for non-EV’s. Then again you could just skip the hustle and bustle and HEAT of Milan and stay cool by the pool or on the Lake! ||Grazie mille bella...
